So is Israel and democracy or theocracy since they call it a Jewish state? I personally find all religions a bit silly but regardless of that what does criticizing a state have to do with criticizing a religion & also why can't I be critical of a religion? I honestly don't know anything about the Jewish religion other than the candle thing they use at Christmas but I have been critical of Christianity and Islam in the past mainly when they try to impose on others but pointing out issues/disagreements doesn't mean you hate some one or a group. As for my issues with Israel: 1. APAC lobbied to make it so anyone supporting BDS couldn't get state contracts in the US. a. I didn't know what BDS was & didn't care, you do not pass laws penalizing people for protesting I don't care if I hate what they are protesting for b. Add in it being a foreign power pushing for a law that effects freedom of speech & that should have had any politician supporting it tried for treason2. After the first I found out how much aid we give at which point I am not a fan of giving that much to any country3. Ilan Omar again someone I didn't know until I hear people calling her this & that to which I watched what she said to which nothing was bigoted unless you classify criticizing the actions of another state as bigoted, if that is the case I am bigoted to Americans since I have a number of criticisms but I do still love my country just want it to be better.

I think those of us who lean more right and watch Phil can upset that he didn't dive more into Tlaib and Omar's views regarding Isreal. It starts to feel like he is leaning more and more left the more people feel like they see this happen. It's not that he doesn't say what people want, it's that while he states facts, those who think he's becoming more biased than he should be think he leaves out facts when it's convenient. Understandably there is a time constraint, so some things need to be left out, but just so you know where people are coming from. Regarding this story, Tlaib and Omar's views regarding Isreal are worth diving into. Also, I know it's convenient for people to straw man the other side, but it can discourage productive conversation. I lost respect for Phil cause of the Covington Catholic Story

I'm Jewish and pro-Israel, and I think Netanyahu's actions are a mistake (I also think his election was a total mistake. Instead of denying the Congresswomen entry into Israel, the Israeli government should have instead welcomed them with open arms and showed them how wrong they are. I do believe the BDS movement is anti-semitic, but I do not believe all supporters of it are anti-semitic and are instead simply mistaken and ignorant to the true motives behind the BDS movement. I believe these Congresswomen fall in this category, therefore I believe it is best for them to be shown the reality and have them be enlightened to why their support of BDS is damaging to both US-Israel relations, as well as to the rights of Palestinian people.

I'm just thinking openly about the congress women who were not allowed into Israel. Why go there? If I don't like someone, I don't go see them. If they were going there to hurt Israel, why should Israel allow them in? There must be more to this. I don't think being a US congress person should have anything to do with it. Whether someone is allowed onto someone else's property should be based solely on that persons ideology and their desire to cause or benefit the persons of the property they are going to go onto. Honestly its up to the people who own the property. I wouldn't let anyone in my house if I knew they meant me or my family harm. I'm pretty sure none of you would either.

As an Israeli I think you the sources brought by this video don't look at the story from the right prospective. It is important to note that Israel is going to re-elections in about a month or so, and seeing as we are (sadly) predominantly right-winged it would not make sense for Bibi (yes we call our prime-minister Bibi) to allow in to left-winged Arabs to do some unneeded antisemitic remark. I don't agree with these claims but those are our politicians, they would destroy all our- vary few- good international connections for the sake of getting one more vote in the overall count.

As an Israeli I think you the sources brought by this video don't look at the story from the right prospective. This guy beats the shit out of people for a living and takes a beating that puts him in a different category then us all knowing coach potatoes. We don't know the history between these two or what was said so like always we all get on our high horses and show how much better we are then others by posting our thoughts. Israeli banning the two Congresswomen is something they can do as a country they can let in or not anyone they want without explanation.

The thing with the isreal situation is, they have said publicly they will allow any politicians of any background to enter their country for talks and tours but they have a law that when someone anyone starts calling for the boycott of Israel and being incredibly anti semitic then they have the right to ban them. The congresswomen knew this would happen and then act shocked (input pikachu meme, they call for peace but then call for the boycott and condemnation of Israel. They need to learn that they are win Congress not kindergarten.

What about the reason why they were barred. Their whole trip was sponsored by MIFTAH. An antisemitic organization that spreads lies, hate and supports and celebrates the murder of innocent jews. There was never intention to come with an open mind or to come as ambassadors of US to Israel. Plus tlaib asked to come see her grandmother and she was granted permission to come see her, provided that it was a humanitarian trip to see her grandmother and she would check all bds stuff at the door. I guess she changed her mind.
