what's wrong with the app? Looking at it seems like it's just meant to teach kids self control and portion control. It's not about denying food, it's about eating it in healthy portions, exercising regularly, and being accountable for your health. It also has different reasons to list. And shouldn't everyone be able to feel better in what they wear, gain confidence, and be happy? If that app can help them with that, why say it's a bad thing? Not everything to do with talking about physical health and weight is body shaming guys. I am very overweight and I can tell you right now that if my kids started going down the same path I did I would want to do something like this for them. There is no reason they should ever have to suffer the pain and emotional problems I've had over the years due to my weight issues. After seeing that Kubo App, i'm going to be looking into a weight watchers app for adults and see if I can afford to join.

The Trump administration may have given up on you Oh the irony of an abortion organisation accusing anyone of giving up on you. Mothers know the babies in their wombs are real, now matter how much the lie to themselves and others about it. Healthcare is not killing babies, planned parenthood's main goal is, it just plays with the figures, by putting all of the costs leagally required, that are leading up to the abortion down as other costs to make it seem that they don't specialize in murdering babies. Their main profit margin comes from murdering babies and hence, there main goal as a company to make money is to push for baby murder as much as possible. Stop lying to yourselves, everyone knows the truth about abortion being murdering babies, around 9 out of ten times because the couple forgot to even use any contraception at all.

Planned parenthood pulled out because they make most of their money from abortions. They lose money on most of their other services. Any money that doesn't come from government funding, comes from the number of abortions they can sell. Because of this they push women into abortions over other options. If they are no longer able to do this, of course they'll pull out of the thing preventing them from doing so. To be clear - this change doesn't stop women from going to get an abortion, it only stops women who go for other services, to be up sold an abortion instead. And planned parenthood couldn't even stomach that. I personally have nothing against abortions, but they can be serious medical procedures with a risk of death or potentially life long side effects such as infertility, and they should be treated as such.

regarding the kurbo app, i feel it is extremely damaging to kid's confidence, especially considering the optioned they give them, i had alot of issues with my weight growing up becuase of points like the options they put in there, i think if we quit trying to force healthy foods onto kids and just start feeding them the healthy food rather then makeing them choose the healthy food over the unhealthy food we'd get better weight in children and more confident children, kids only percieve being fat as bad becuase we tell them it's bad. if we dont tell them it's bad they wont worry so much about their wieght and if we also feed them the correct foods, they wont even know the difference and be a healthy weight while also haveing a healthy mindset

Thank you for talking about the amazon. Definitely one of the most important ecosystems on earth. Plays a critical role in reducing atmospheric CO2, which is essential for climate stability. I hate to be the guy to Point this out, but the part about the Amazon producing 20% of the oxygen we breath is actually misinformation. It actually has a net production of about zero percent of Earths atmospheric O2. Id explain why but Im sure we can all look it up and I dont think its very practical to type about it here: . But again, even without the oxygen point, the Amazon is still an essential ecosystem, especially with climate change becoming an ever-pressing issue. Thanks for sharing Phil

This ww app shouldn't exist. Not only can the effect negatively impact the minds of these kids adding to eating disorders BUT it is the PARENTS responsibility to teach your kid how to eat healthy and exercise and serve a good example for it. That every body has it's own unique shape and size naturally and they should love that. But if parents didnt shove their kids full of fast food and junk and let them sit on the couch all day an ap can really hurt them. Good intentions dont always yeld good results. Also if your child is exercising regularly and eating a balanced diet and still overweight that is an good time to go to the doctor there maybe an underlining health problem.

The problem with Obesity in the US is entirely in how it is handled medically. No matter the reason for someone's size there is inevitably a cause. Eating disorders need to be diagnosed and acknowledged. Fat disorders need to be acknowledged and diagnosed. I wouldn't be surprised if our numbers are so high because things like Lipedema, Dercums, and Lymphedema can be misdiagnosed as Obesity. On that same note there needs to be actual help and not just shame and pressure for those that are obese. Mental and physical care. There's a lot more to obesity than just calories in vs calories out. If it was that simple then we wouldn't have so many that struggle so much.

On the amazon fires, it sucks, it shitty humans fault most likely, but realistically, we can't stop that, look how long Cali wildfires burn. That fire is miles wide, we cant cut the trees down around it and we can't get enough water in fast enough. Hell, maybe we could stop it, but what country is going to step up to actually pay to put out that fire? Yeah, unless a metric shit load of civilians donate a metric shit ton to some company brave enough to take the task on, the fire's only gonna stop naturally in my opinion. Bill Gates/Elon Musk Collab anybody? TLDR: I have no faith in humanity so I think the Amazon forest fire won't get put out.

I doubt the lack of media coverage had much to do with the majority of people not knowing about it. Forest fires in Siberia have been burning down atleast 25 thousand sqkm (according to nasa) for over a month, have been covered by popular media, yet receive almost no attention on social media. The whole 'why isn't it being covered by media' is simply a trend - most people probably would just forget about it the moment they saw it in any media, if weren't a trend or didn't have a hashtag. And that's if they even cared enough to read the title.
