People need to chill with George Bush and Ellen. Yes you can be friends with someone who don't believe in the same things as you do. Yes you can be friends with someone from the opposite political party. They were hanging out at a game, and it was not political, human's hanging out with each other that's what people do. Hell I have a family who are complete conservatives, and are full Trump supporters. They are not related to me by blood, but I still went to visit them with my sister on Thanksgiving since that is her fiance's family. Her fiance is not a Trump supporter btw, but in the end we may have our difference, but if we avoid each other and don't have a conversation in which there is a middle ground then we will understand each others POV less and less, and we will see each other as less human. You can get people thinking about what is right and what is wrong, you guys don't have to agree, but that will get them thinking about how you see it. Don't try to convince something if they are not willing to be open, you can't fix those people and there will only be more conflict. Hate breads Hate. There are decent people out there and there are those who will listen and are open to new ideas. Everyone is becoming so radicalized because plenty of people are refusing to talk to each other, and listen to each other. They like to talk, but don't listen, or don't let the other person talk in hopes to stop people from hearing what they have to say.

ThoughtsEllen: I don't understand why people think it's horrible for her to be friends with a conservative. Most people I know have a mix of friends across the political spectrum, so what makes Bush any different? Sure, he made mistakes, but he's done good things like the No Child Left behind act and the Texas Top 10% rule. Trump Syrian crisis: While I personally believe we should not intervene in wars that don't concern us, I do think Trump should have pulled out much later than he did. This has led to the Turkish government discriminatingly killing kurdish civilians, and has created conditions that could lead to a power vacuum. Power vacuums typically lead to territorist groups like ISIS to emerge. At least the SDF and the SAA seemed to make a deal where they will work together to repel the Turks, but Trump's action may have prolonged the Syrian civil war that could have been almost over. However, I do understand that in his mind he thought he was doing the right thing. He made a promise to kill ISIS and then leave, and he followed that promise

Let Ellen be friends with who she wants to. People seem to have forgotten that 14 years is a long time and we don't know Bush personally. Clearly Bush must have some redeeming qualities if she's willing to be friends with him and continue to do so even after all this backlash. I obviously have never been the President before I can't even imagine the level of disconnect one must experiance with their actions taken in office. Bills passed, wars started, speeches given. While in in office, it's all just endless paperwork. I'm not saying I agree with anything Bush has done as the President. Hell, I was pretty young during his stay in the White House. I'm just saying that no past president should be judged so harshly for things they've done in office especially when it's been almost 15 years. I would be extatic to sit next to a former president at any public event and I'm sure that's a feeling that transends any level of fame. So, just back off the the both of them.

why are you only mentioning what Syria has been losing all this time and COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that they (i mean PKK and YPG) has been attacking our lands and killing our soldiers for a long while. I'm sad to hear your opinion on this matter is not objective rather you want to believe what you are told. the last time when you approached this matter you were pretty good at explaining but now you are giving opinions which will cause your audience to believe Turkey is to blame. in contrast to that Turkey is the only country which helped Syria all along. we are feeding and giving shelters to those refugees who were not accepted to enter anywhere else in the world. so the one who wants the best for Syrians are not your allies but us. please check your facts with more sources than only a couple of articles that wants to show the world Turkey is the one to blame everything upon.

They're gonna be escaping to Europe. That's where they're gonna go. They wanna go back to their homes. Mr President, with all due respect, Europe IS NOT their home. ISIS has terrorized Europe as much as it has terrorized the US, if not more. We have welcomed millions fleeing from ISIS, and now we will probably be forced to take in people fleeing from the assault launched by Turkey - despite how badly it has affected our economy. As for any immigrant who have come to Europe, and then left to join ISIS, they're not allowed back in. Just as you will not allow people who have left your country to join a terror organization to come back in. You have abandoned your allies and once again pushed the cleanup to Europe. It is not okay. Please listen to the experts in your government and take responsibility for your actions.

My 2 yr old LOVES Blippi We bought tickets for her 3rd birthday. I bought them early during presale, and it was posted on the front page that he was not going to be the one on stage. For that reason I did not purchase meet and greet tickets. I doubt my daughter will notice from sitting in the audience but I think if she got up close to meet him she would know something was up. I do however think it sounds more like a cash grab situation, if he wanted Blippi be to be just a character in the 1st place, he should have hired someone to replace some instead of putting his face behind all of it as soon as it got big. We still Love Blippi and watch it daily. My daughter's actually going to be Blippi for Halloween this year.

I don't really see much difference in what the creator of Blippi is doing and what mall Santas do all over the nation come christmas time. I don't think it's really fair to encourage people to 'get refunds' as the creator of Blippi doesn't mislead anyone during the initial purchase of the tickets. It's important for parents to keep in mind that taking their kids to see Blippi ISN'T about the parents' happiness, it's about making the kids happy. If the kids are having fun, if the kids enjoy the outing, who cares if Blippi was just played by an actor? You don't sit there and demand a refund for your time with Mall Santa, so how is this different?

I may very well be wrong. But I do remember that Saddam Hussein was responsible for a large number of Iraqi civilian deaths. Stats put Saddam's bodycount at about 250, 000. From the Iraq war's first boots on ground through early this year, 200, 000 Iraqi civilian deaths. I don't think he's smart enough to be as evil as people claim. And as far as the gay marriage ban, you mean to tell me that a politician made promises that he had no intention - or ability - to fulfill in order to secure votes? Gasp Say it ain't so. Hey. remember Obama's most transparent presidency? .Yeah. me neither. The WWE is more realistic nowadays.

Its hard to watch when a good man, a strong man, is brought down on his knees to please the Chinese government. Its heartbreaking to watch a hero grovel, and turn his back on the Constitution, for what? Money? If there was EVER proof that American companies should not do too much business with China, THIS is it Youll be absorbed into the one China policy and the first thing to go is your right to free speech. Then your self-respect disappears and then the respect of your peers and fans right here in YOUR homeland. America. We love everything about them. WTAF? I sure hope it was worth it as Im sure he was well paid.
