Please be careful whenever you hear any news regarding Covid-19 numbers in mainland China. I've been living in Beijing since the outbreak. China has already banned any foreigner from entering the country since April. The sketchy thing is that the CCP, China's one party government, has been changing its official story so much lately. At first, there was no Corona-virus outbreak (this cover-up led to the outbreak and pandemic in the first place. then they finally acknowledged it came from Wuhan. Then they changed their official story to blame the virus as coming from Italy, and finally settled on blaming the U. S. This is the OFFICIAL stance of the CCP. Now many Chinese are being lied to, being told that China has beat the virus which was spread to them from America, and any new cases they see can be blamed on foreigners. This is despite the fact that foreigners are no longer allowed to travel to China. This is blatant propaganda, and kind of brilliant to be honest despite being completely wrong and manipulative. Is it true that there are some cases coming from Chinese citizens coming back from abroad? Probably. But all? No. And now this propaganda is starting to impact expats in China. As an American who has lived here for years, I'm starting to see signs rejecting foreigners, or more specifically people without Asian skin color, from grocery stores and restaurants. I get hassled by guards much more often in these past few weeks for ID and temperature checks. When covering news about China's numbers, it would also be a good idea to note that China's official stance is to blame the virus on foreigners, and take any official numbers with a healthy grain of salt.

I am a long time watch and really enjoy your videos and will continue to watch but I have been disliking your videos more often recently and I will start listing why not to harass you or hurt you just let you know why I dislike more than hitting a button and many of the times it happens in the first few minutes of your video. This video you start bashing faceless no-name senator for being in full don't touch me gear and why you can report on the problems with allowing WC voting to continue you have to understand a man that goes between locals and the hub of government meeting with everyone in line to vote needs extra precaution and bashing him for it is not a two-second sound bite burn but a more nuanced thing of trying to balancing of the continuation of modern society and pandemic precautions. If everyone just shut down for two months the world would collapse, I'm sorry it would, the very fact that we still have grocery workers is the fact that we, in the face of calamity, still try to maintain a semblance of modern society and that needs to be understood.

there really isnt a reason to postpone the election. its not going to be safe for mass public gatherings for a very long time. the system for absentee ballots already failed with multiple people reporting that they requests the ballots weeks ago but never received any response. The amount of time that it would take to create a new system to properly handle something like this would be months which wouldnt really work with the timeline for the election in november. Really we just need to change the american voting system. we shouldn't be picking one person there should be multiple choices on the ballots we we just mark everyone that would be acceptable.

WHO is insane. We cannot wait for a vaccine, it will take at least a year to start manufacturing one. And we might never get one at all. They were fine with China reopening their economy, but demand western countries to keep theirs closed till vaccine pops up? WHO lost all the authority in my eyes for prising China for their transparency when they covered up the outbreak for more then a month They got warned by Taiwan about human to human transmission in December but they just ignored it. Japan is right, it's no more World Health Organisation, its China Health Organisation. I'm not trusting a word from this corrupt organization.

hey i feel like you got something wrong when talking about the Corona-Virus, which I believe is really importent for the public to understand. In Germany we are talking about lifting the sanctions because our hospitals have right now less to do because all unnecessary medical procedure were postponed. In addition to rise of other public health concerns, the economy and other stuff, it makes sense to talk about an exit and espasially about an exit strategy. The stradegy is not, that nobody catches the Corona-Virus but instead that or public health system can take care of everybody.

I live in Spain, April 26 that is on the calendar right now is the third extension of our national lockdown which is one of the strictest in the entire world right now. We cant even leave our houses without getting ticketed by police, more people have gotten to keyed that have actually gotten the virus. when they say we are returning to normal life on April 26 they mean we able to leave our houses for more than groceries and maybe see your friends in small groups. When they left our quarantine its still isnt going to be nearly as loose as the lockdowns in the states right now.

I don't trust any information from China. They have been lying about most of the virus since the beginning. There are reports of far more deaths than being reported. I would put it this way, if Italy has a higher cases and death rates than wuhan; based on the population and congestion of the two locations. Yeah China is lying. As for WHO, I stopped trusting them when they bowed down to China. China is claiming Taiwan for themselves and when the WHO was asked about taiwan; they referred to it as China. China has several World officials in their pockets and this is not good

I disagree that shaming is a good way to get people to do what they should regarding the virus. Cancel culture has been abused for years now, and people are tired of it. Shaming will only result in REBELLIOUS BEHAVIOR. If the media and political pundits hadn't been trying to shame people since 2016, maybe it would work. But at this point people are tired of shaming culture, and even if what you're telling them is correct, they will do the opposite out of spite. THIS IS HOW TRUMP WON. WHEN WILL EVERYONE LEARN THAT BROWBEATING NEVER BRINGS WILLING COOPERATION?

That's a great way to beat a deadly virus. Go back to norms so it can spread all over again. The countries doing this are going to wind up dealing with it, and probably have travel banned to countries who quarantined properly and long enough, far longer than other places. You don't open the doors just because there's a small dip in statistics. That's arrogant and foolish. All you're going to do is give the virus brand new vectors and introduce it to people who wouldn't have had it if restrictions were in place.
