Hello Phil!
This is probably not something you want to see considering the subject matter, and the stress you're already under via the times/all the work you've been doing, but I was hoping you could help give this some light in world where stories like this are left to die.
Much like this man;
After doctors withheld treatment including nutrition and hydration for six days, Michael Hickson died leaving his wife and five children behind.
He was a quadrapalegic man, of whom could still comminicate and was of sound mind that had contracted Covid-19 while in the hospital.
The doctors decided that on grounds of quality of life Mr. Hickson would be left without treatment, nourishment, and hydration;
All without the consent or input from his wife.
It is a sad and terrifying story that disabled people live in fear of happening to them. More often than not, the disabled tend to be treated as lesser beings or just having less worth in general by the very people of whom pledge or say they help/want to help us.
There are more awful details, but it is imperative for not just disabled people like myself, but for that poor man's family to find justice.
Sadly sometimes the only way to get that is through exposure by those with an empathetic heart and a large audience.
Please. Help them. Talk about them. Give Mr. Hickson and his wife the exposure needed so that this kind of injustice isn't swept under the rug like so many others.
She wasn't even allowed to face time her husband when he was moved to hospice, let alone was I formed promptly of when he died.
She will have to live forever knowing that her husband died alone in a hospital because of one doctor's bias'd opinion where she wasn't even allowed a choice.
Please consider them for a spot on your show when you come back from your break.

This defunding the police needs to stop. Why the hell is our country negotiating with Marxist terrorists such as the black lives matter movement? The leaders and createors of this group have never been shy at explaining how they are trained Marxist, the Chaz/chop town they created is violent and so are the protesters. Biased and using criminals as their martyrs, including George floyd who went to jail in 2007 until 2014 for putting a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach to rob her. And the Atlanta Georgia case where the body cams from the police and witnesses show they were in the right as the DA lied and threw them under the bus for Brooks, the man drunk in a Wendy's parking lot who could've killed others under the influence, who also had a criminal record and was a child abuser and wife beater. These are the men they use as martyrs, as good men? Ridiculous! Our country has lost its mind with these hypocrites who play the race card and cancel culture everything. So sick and tired of this.

I think this news show is very important phil and that you should continue this version as long as you can. even if it isnt you doing the news; we need someone to quickly show us the top 5 or so news stories of the day. If you saying it isn't sustainable is due to your mental health then yes stop and find someone to take your place. but if it's due to growth or business then I ask you, as a viewer who started watching in 2009 when I was a 9th grader and binge watched you at summer camp that summer, to please continue with the show. your helping a generation get news and opinions that they wouldn't get otherwise(due to laziness or accessibility) you have the perfect format and I tune in for it.

I feel like making defunding the police and creating new job categories for specific purposes can create lots of new jobs for ppl. So many ppl don t wnna become police bc don t want to deal w all the things it entails like having to detail ppl you don t think are doing anything wrong or just being hated in general. So many ppl I m sure have the capabilities to help homeless ppl and others help mentally ill ppl etc and can finally help them getting these new jobs. Also this would make things sm more effective bc now they will finally have less work and have more time to focus on their specific areas.

The only politician that is currently calling out China, is the Racist, bigot, Nazi man. Honestly the CCP isn't going to stop in Hong Kong. its going to get worse until WW3. Sanctions and Tariffs. Don't buy Chinese products or ones that support them like Apple and google. Honestly the CCP has the rest of the world by the GoNads. I hope love wins. Also it's almost impossible to get any electronics that aren't made in China since the rare earth metals come VIA China.

I have been watching Phil's show nearly every week day for 9 years (from late teens to late twenties) I'll be sad to see this daily show go, but excited to see where Phil lands and what he makes next. Maybe documentaries, Phil? Common, you know you want to give me a feature length, deep dive into one event/issue. (and i hope the podcast continues for a bit, even if the episodes are only once in a month, I still think that is worth sticking around)

One of the problems with reducing police funding is that probably the first thing to go is going to be training, because it always is. So now you have even-less-trained cops out there. This is not a recipe for success.
Also it's highly notable that every single one of those defundings listed allocated less funds to replacement programmes than what they defunded. So where is the remainder going? I doubt it's going to lower taxes.
