Cloud seeding-s been making rain for years-. and yet droughts and wildfires continue devastate the western US, Canada, Australia, etc. destroying lives, homes, land, businesses, communities, wildlife, etc. Not to mention the firefighters who lost their lives battling the wildfires- Government officials & Mainstream News Media assure us they are using -every resource available- to combat the fires & telling people they can only pray for rain- Well clearly we can do WAY MORE then just pray for rain. And the REAL question is, why aren-t we using this to not only negate drought but effectively extinguish wildfires!

well this does not look like a safe solution. for example what will happen to the cloud after we use this tactic? will it be able to produce water again? if not then how can we be sure that other neighbor countries will get rain? if anyone uses cloud seeding then the environment could e affected in a negative way. and guess what, an international body will be used to ensure that proper cloud seeding is practiced and to punish those who don't follow the rules. this sounds terrible to me. thank you for this video, cheers!

In case it hasn't been mentioned elsewhere in these comments, it was the brother of famous author Kurt Vonnegut - Bernard Vonnegut, who invented the -cloud seeding- process. He used silver iodide.
The author parodied this scientific phenomenon in his novel -Cat's Cradle- as the fictional substance -Ice 9- which would freeze water solid when coming into contact. In the novel a small amount is released into the world's water supply which causes all the oceans to freeze which in turn causes the extinction of humans.

The problem is what they are spraying comes down and contaminates the soil and water and air. We are breathing, and drinking, and eating those chemicals, and it is destroying the soil ph permanently! That means your crops won't grow! They were using aluminum and barium, which they found aluminum can penetrate the blood brain barrier, and cause alot of permanent damage to a body!

I get the fascination of cloud seeding, but while trying to control even more of nature we only make it a bigger mess by using silver iodide and other chemicals.
Silver iodide is a toxic chemical (as most are. I think it's quite dangerous to mess around with it. Making the world and it's weather/climate a giant experiment is a dangerous road.

Look there has to be Canadian universities with scientifically inclined students that would be able to help them or answer that simple question that can you make shift or can they impromptu makeshift our cloud seeding program with heavy salt or silver nano particles I imagine salt is cheaper can they do it, can they do it now?

Here in UAE it-s so common, 3years ago they did it so much it literally sank the city - kept raining for days, it was wild but we love it since it-s rarely rains the recent years cause -global warming-
