Alexander the Great is called Leka I Madh, a short form of Alexander.
Only people close to him could call by a short name a King an Emperor.
No other ethnicity or tribe addresses Alexander by a short name.
The Albanian currency is called Lek after Alexander. None ever has protested about it. Greeks protest against slavs for the name of Macedonia, but not to Albanians.
The Illyrian/Albanian tribes knew the history of Alexander (Lekes) the Great thought they were illiterate, never spoke Greek or Latin or read any book. When they were asked how do they know they simply said that their father told them and their father heard it from grandfather and so on in centuries kept history alive.

Both the Romans and Turks managed to use internal scheming between the Greeks against themselves before conquering them. If you get deeper into the Roman conquest of Greece or the Turkish conquest of Greece it's all about politics. Without the politics they could have mounted a better defense. At the end of the day I think the Roman conquest was inevitable. They had all the momentum. The Greek world was already old and tired, tied down with old ways of fighting that weren't mobile enough to counter the Roman Legions. It's the cycle of empires.
As far as the Turks go - I think they could have been stopped from entering Europe without all the scheming.

epiros wa part of iliarns land like dardania for ex witch is modern kosovo, he is between greece and ilyrians. in albania we still name pyhrrus (pirro to many are called nowdays and even before). i am not saying he is albanian becouse the tribes after ilyria are so mixed up i am saying he has i common with ilyrians (albania part of ilyrria ) and greece as well so stop fighting

I do belueve he was a genius commander, although i feel his position as a ruler was too fragile to truly challenge a growing rome. Judging from his time in syracuse he doesnt seem that good and ruling other greeks, and unless he could truly get a combined greek natiin behind him, rome would only end up invading out of revenge and likely grinding them down

Pyrrhus may have been more successful if he focused on mainland Greece, southern Italy or Sicily instead of bouncing from one theatre to another during his campaigns against Macedonia, Rome and Carthage.

Fun fact, Pyrrhus the cousin of Alexander, was killed in the city from which Alexander's father ancestors came from. This is why Alexander's family was the Argives.
