2) farmed and expanded uncontested
3) acted on their own interest
4) waited until strong to attack weak
5) got all the great deals of fighting for the highest bidder in 2v1s
While the european powers
1) were too busy figthing wars
2) spent all their resources on war contesting the same shreds of land
3) acted on national pride, historical contests and nobility preservation
4) fought constantly before recovering any strength
5) made agreements at a loss based on winning by making their enemy loses bigger than their own
USA had all the blessings to become what is now, nothing really special or groundbreaking to credit for. Yet now that everyone has been on peace and growth for a while, starting to catch up, we can all see how unworthy it is of any great title.

You have to admit that the USA's rise in world power and influence is insanely fast. Became a country in 1776 and it wasn't until the War of 1812 that Britain REALLY acknowledged the USA as a seperate, distinct country. Became a great power by the late 19th century, literally just over 100 years after its founding. Became the most powerful nation in the world in 1945 (and frankly may have, had it decided to mobilize its resources into its military and be engaged in the world, became the top power after WW1. In any case, to go from birth in 1776 to most powerful nation in the world in 1945, a span of 169 years, is unprecedented, unless I am missing something. I cannot think of another nation that became the most powerful in the world less than 200 years after its founding. It's almost unbelievable

It is surprising to see how the Anglo-Saxons do not speak of the greatest genocide in the history of mankind, annihilating almost all of the inhabitants of North America, but they do believe that they can judge what the Spaniards did in Central and South America. At least they did not annihilate all the towns. I hope that one day the Latin American peoples unite and open our eyes to the lies that the Anglo-Saxon world continues to tell, that we understand that they prohibit us from speaking our language in their country, they separate the music awards, despising everything multicultural. if you think that all this and more is not racism, you have a serious problem. I think the numbers of dead soldiers are almost right. If you wanna include the Spanish flu and the worst amount of deaths for marine corp history. But add it all up it comes to almost 200000. Still though hes right about the numbers, just a lot more died of the flu.

Lets not forget that the south in the 1800s was predominately democrat. Once slavery was abolished and the confederacy was destroyed they migrated north which is how they get away with the lie that the parties switched. They were simply run out of the south.

I gave up after about 2 minutes. This video is heavy on the condemnation of settlers and light on facts. There were atrocities and there were beautiful relationships between natives and settlers, the same as today. Stick to the facts please.

I prefer to refer to the War on Terror as the War of Terror because after the first ten or so years, it essentially became the US occupies you guys for your oil and commits tons of war crimes war instead.
