This theory is completely idiotic and been disproved, the boat that they found or any boat that they could make could not hold the weight of those stones! Nor could humans bring it from the boat and stack them up on top of each other to make the pyramids if they used boats which they did but not to transport any boulders for sure -

Wonder how deep the Nile is between those two points, how big would that boat have to be? From what I have found, the Nile is a little over 6000 miles long with only 6000 ft of of elevation, with erosion it can-t be all that deep.

The Polynesians used a similar technology which allowed flexibility on their every long boats which spanned ocean swells and of course they used coconut nut fibers being both water resistant and stretchable

We still have boats that used fiber ropes to make the joins of the wodden planks water tight in India. On top of this they apply fat/oil.
This is not 100% leak proof, but is a working solution.
