Why wasn't Bulgaria a part of Yugoslavia?
video description
Unification of Yugo Slavians was made long before tatarian minority came to grab Macedonia Province ( in ramparting ) of Roman Empire time.
They broth different life and grabbing mentality!
In transversal vastness of
West /North to South great influence was made during Roman Empire and the Road Via Ignatia, and latar on the railway connection( Orient Express ) Atina Paris.
And third item is aversion that Jugoslavian had against Bulgarian language!
They didnt make any modernisation since Old Slav Language was applicable for the level of wild people who uttered inarticulate sounds!
Nothing was Marshal Titos invention!
Only economical and regional comparative advantages from Karavanki to Kajmakchalan as homogenious region.
Something like Iberia is and Apenini.\r\n

The fact that on the maps is referred as North Macedonia (which is the official name following Prespa Agreement) the narrator keeps referring it as Macedonia. In case you are not aware of the issue, the Macedonia naming dispute started in the early 90s, following the breakup of Yugoslavia. The Greeks did not accept the Skopjie country to be named after Macedonia, since Macedonia was a wide region that was including parts of Greece, Croatia, NM and Bulgaria and it's spoken language had been to be a Doric dialect of the ancient Greek language. The region of the largest part of the northern Greek is also called as Macedonia since Pella (the capital of the Macedonian Empire) is in the modern Greece. Anyway, it might look like a minor error not adding the ''North'' when referring to North Macedonia, yet the history behind that is deeper than it seems to be.

The answer is very simple. If we are simple population nation since 7th century when Bulgaria was created. Bulgaria (when it was independent state) is of the bulgarians and we never shared identity with other nations. (serbs, croats was the same) Second after Turkey, Bulgaria's second biggest rival was Serbia because of their aggression over teritories with bulgarian population. The country that exist now as North Macedonia was created in 1945 after decades Bulgaria trying to regain thehistorical macedonian region where and the main population was bulgarians except the south parts which was very mixed with greeks. Bulgaria joining Yugoslavia after this would lead to massive rebellions.

How dumb of a Bulgarian you have to be to believe that Tito grouped up 1. 2 million citizens of the Yugoslavian Federation and simply declared -Henceforth you shall be known as Macedonians-?
The reason why Macedonians and Bulgarians won't coexist in the near future is because the Nazi mentality is still going strong in certain modern Bulgarian groups. They won't acknowledge that the Macedonians fought for over 250 years for a free and independent Macedonia, fought and died against Nazi Bulgarian militia during the 1941-44 occupation and came out victors.

Bulgaria was the third biggest country in Europe once, also one of the oldest from 681 year. Gave the World the Cyrillic alphabet. Bulgarians helped the Serbs to make their country. After that the divided Bulgaria from Macedonia, where the people are Bulgarians, whos minds were brainwashed. Therefore, Bulgaria could never be a part of Yugoslavia.

Since Bulgarians and Serbs have been neighbors on the Balkan Peninsula, they have been at war and Bulgaria has often ruled Serbia. The main dispute is Macedonia, which has a Bulgarian population, which adopted the Serbian identity during Yugoslavia and in a violent way. Serbs and Bulgarians are enemies. for at least a thousand years.

Unfortunately, one fact is not mentioned here, which is the most important. As late as 1923, all were Serbs. Today in 2023 they are divided into several peoples - Serbs (Orthodox, Muslims and Catholics, Croatians (Catholics, Slovenes (Catholics, North Macedonians (Orthodox, Montenegrins (Orthodox) and Bosnian Muslims -Bosniaks-.

Serbia and Bulgaria were at war through most of the history. The Balkans are. -special-. They can never unite to rule themselves, despite the very similar culture. Always someone external must come and rule them over. Also, Serbia was a WW2 winner, and did their own socialism, while socialism in Bulgaria was dictated by USSR.

The story told in this video is so poor. a Historian would be offended! Also, Macedonian is not an ethnicity! The web is full of poorly educated individuals that misinform people. Last but not least, the narration needs to align with video!

This video is garbage. The history of Bulgaria does not start in 20th century. The history of the region does not start in 20th century. Unlike USA which was founded in the 18th century, Bulgaria has history since 7th century.

Bulgaria didn-t join Yugoslavia just because Stalin didn-t allow that. So simple! Yugoslavia will become too big and will threaten Soviet Union.

Can you please elaborate about North Macedonia?
There wasn-t such country in the human histoty, so your map is totally irrelevant.
