Mannnn this is truly painful to watch. To sum it up theres this girl I like and we recently went out with a few friends for drinks. Basically she invited me back to hers and I slept in her bed. Unfortunately thats basically it. There was a couple half cuddles but no more. My point here is that going back to hers was so far out of my realm of possibility thinking shed be into meso when it happened I self consciously didnt act on the situation I had I was in, it was clear as fkn daylight I had wayyy more than enough chances to land that night but I just didnt do it for those dumb reasons. Im now watching this and guess what, each pint you make, oh look yep thats what happened, we caught each other both looking at our eyes closely, through Bantering back and forth she mentioned a couple times Ive just gotta break your self confidence that you just seem to have. I definitely played the hard to get role and acted with aloofness. It was so obvious that I had her into me, which is why she clearly invited me back to hers. Now Im sitting here fustrated as hell cause I didnt take that opportunity once I went back to hers.

I tried some of these approaches. So far, so good. This girl I've fallen pretty hard for is talking to somebody who, quite frankly, isn't a great dude. She has shown interest in me, but is interested in this dude more, and said she's seeing him and wants to stay friends with me. Which is fine. It's not the friend zone if you're chasing her while you're her friend. So I've stepped back. I'll still see other people, but I stepped back. Mirroring really does work. I almost screwed this entire thing up. However.
Last night, I wore red, walked into where she works HOT (in a positive way, and slightly changed my look. She was laughing at everything I was saying the entire time, and even called me from across the restaurant she works at to ask me privately what I ordered. She already knew. These small things really do work. Now, I'm giving her space, so when I'm not there, that's the last interaction of ours she'll think about. When a woman isn't chased, they'll be more attracted to you. Make things on YOUR timeline, not hers.

This is terrible advice, unless you're looking for a toxic relationship. Don't play hard to get- be yourself- just don't give all of yourself them right away- when you grow together, you glow together. Both be playful and don't take life and the relationship (in the beginning) too seriously. Never ever hide who you are! Seriously be yourself. This is a great example of why people are so fake- they think they're not going to be accepted for who they are so they put on a facade only for it to come out later on down the road which makes the entire relationship questionable. And not all women want a man who doesn't smile- I prefer manly men, and adore the ones who smile and aren't afraid of showing their sensitive side. Women need to feel emotionally and physically safe- and vice versa.

Sure, brooding is a good lure. There's a lot of mystery that draws a person in, but the thing that made me fall in love with this particular guy was the fact that I could make him laugh and smile, and I could actually have some fun with him. He was broody and aloof generally (or probably just very introverted, but he dropped it around me. It helped me relax a lot to know that I didn't have to feel nervous or try too hard around him.
Girl's like to make the person they like smile. So, my advice. Relax and let yourself have a good time. Use the brooding tactic, if you want, when it works the best. Keeping it throughout is a recipe for failure. You want to draw a person in, not make them feel anxious and insecure.
