Been suffering from this hell since grade school. It's just sad that it's making me lose my interest in school. It's making me hate everything about school. I get anxious everytime. I hate presentations, reporting and all. Just being in my seat doing nothing is already hard for me. I hate how I can't control my emotions and reactions. I hate waking up with a heavy and anxious heart. Even talking to my family and friends is hard. I'm in my tenth grade and planning to quit school and just fix myself. My problem is just that i know my parents wouldnt agree about it. Dancing calms me down sometimes so ill hold on my hobby. I love performing ever since but anxiety just keep on messing with me. I just hope He'll shower us blessings so it wouldn't be too hard for me. Am I still doing the right thing? Can someone please talk to me about this?

A lot of the time I try and hide my feelings because I think that people will think I do things for attention but I really dont and I guess that comes from past trauma but I never get to say how I feel or if Im hurting because I feel people will think Im just being dramatic or annoying so it just becomes this constant cycle something bothers me and i dont saying anything and i just replays in my mind and Ill have this voice thatll just tell me everything I did wrong and how Im probably annoying everyone with my issues and how Im not doing something right or how Im not supposed to say or do anything because of what everyone will think and its hard to deal with

I have GAD, and other anxiety disorders.
What I do usually, is play games like Minecraft, or Stardew Valley. Making symmetrical things in Minecraft calms me.
The routine in Stardew Valley calms me.
Right now, I have a cross stitch app on my phone. That helps as well, as it is pretty much a colour by number kind of thing, and colouring helps me, by distracting me.
At the moment, I'm doing the cross stitch one, while listening to things, as my room is too hot (my 360 heats my room up more, my laptop needs to be fixed (gotta wait until Christmas for that, and I can't sleep (anxiety, insomnia, sick, and hurting. Not a fun mix)

This one time I told someone that Im always overthinking and stressing and worrying about things that happened over a year ago and yet I still think about them for days on end. He told me that everybody stresses about things and it made me feel horrible because its not normal to worry about going out the house or talking to anyone about even buying a drink at a shop. Its so hard to explain social anxiety when you even find it hard to talk about the weather. I have stopped trying to talk about and now deal with it in other ways and Im in this never ending cycle of wanting to talk but not being able to

Imagine spending 7 hours every day, struggling with this at school, coming home very tired and not knowing why, spending the rest of your day blaming yourself and crying for what happened during that time.
Every day you feel that it gets worse, that just going to buy bread is horrible, until you decide to stay 1 month, up to 3 months, locked in your house, without going out, while your mind goes more crazy than you thought.
Now imagine that you already know what you have, you know what was bothering you, and even knowing it, you don't know what to do and you don't know how to escape.

When you want to have a little energy, you can drink some coffee or some tea. When you want to relax eat a turkey sandwich. If you have anxiety, there's quite a few natural herbal helpers that are available! People may say, I want to deal with my problem Not cover it up with a Band aid! But, if you just think about it, There is No medicine that can cure anything! All medicines today, especially the New ones on TV commercials, are just Band aids! And that's it! So at least, just as with a band aid. There's something there to help You while You heal!

damn,
my best friend suffers from very serious general anxiety disorder. I thought I had a solid grasp on the way her mind reacts to things and how to make things the least stressful for her but after watching this, Ive realised that so much of her personality and so many of her actions are symptoms of her disorder. I feel like a shitty friend because I didn't get it anywhere near as well as I should have before now but I guess that means I can at least be more understanding and I can try to not stress her out like I had before

I always feel kind of uncomfortable saying that I HAVE anxiety. I have. the symptoms of social anxiety. I often have panic attacks, occasional selective mutism, I find talking to people in general rather difficult unless I know them well. But there's always someone whose problems are more serious than mine, and my problems don't mean anything, and I don't deserve to say that I have it when I'm not really suffering, so. I usually just say that I GET social anxiety. I'm not sure. I don't have a disorder.

I think that i can sleep well at night is because i'm in the same room as my sister and she might be tye most trusted person in my life, but that still doesn't mean tyat i tell her about everything going on in my head or body too.

(I dunno what kind of anxiety this is)
Everytime I chat w/ my friend I will plan the day before what will I say to her and how I want to the converstation end, because I hate awkward silences it usually makes my heart beat fast and make my palms sweaty. Meanwhile my brain is screaming TALK ABOUT SOMETHING OH MY GOD THIS IS AWKWAAAARD!

I actually have all of them lol it's gotten so bad that I had to go to a dermatologist to get pills cause I had digged so bad into my skin Into my skin that I had made a giant hole in my leg and I have more from picking at my skin they are all scars now but I always think what if I didn't pick at it then I wouldn't have these scars

But what if it isn't constant anxiety, but just you feel stressed and physically ill over small things? Is it a minor case of anxiety or just nervousness? I am so confused because sometimes I feel like I can't even breathe right, but it's not like I am just constantly fearful. It's just often. I really don't know what to think.
reply

I constantly have anxiety strikes when I think about my University projects and all the work I have to do. And god, this has been extremely exhausted for me. Honestly I don't now how it's gonna be the rest of the semester. However. I just hope my medication can start to work soon. I'll try to stay as positive as I can.

I'm feeling nauseaus almost every morning when I have to go to school(I'm in highschool, and the pressure just not good for me. It makes it hard to eat a proper breakfast or even going to school. I already knew it was related to anxiety, but this video helped me understanding it more. Thank you

I thought it would be more a guide to live with, or overcome anxiety, Over just explaining symptoms of it.
I live though this. All of it ring true. Sometimes between the vomiting, headaches, sweating, exhaustion, and panic attacks, It often fells no different then acualy being sick.

I remember when I asked my parents if we could buy chipotle ( I was like 15 atm) and my mom gave me the card to order what I wanted. I literally cried because I felt like everyone would stare at me for doing so. now here I am diagnosed with anxiety, panic, and depression
reply

I have all of these symptoms but I don't think I have anxiety because I don't get panic attacks too often like I've only ever had about 3 and I know people who do have anxiety and they always have panic attacks. Like I suffer from all the symptoms but idk if it's anxiety or not

I've been diagnosed with GAD for many years. Unfortunately, the only thing that gives me relief is Alprazolam. It's also the only medication that will stop the excessive renumerations in my head when I'm trying to actually fall asleep. I've tried everything under the sun.

For myself it sometimes helps to find a place where i can be myself and can feel a little calmer and hmmm protectet but also free. Does this make sence?
For me actually its a half a hour walk lake where i can sit with my dog for a while till i'm ready to go back

reply

When anxiety hits, over all social or performance, I feel my heartrate fastening and I feel like my cheeks start to swell blocking my view. It's awful, expecially during speeches or presentations because I feel like I can't see the paper I'm reading from.
reply

Anybody else just spend 15 minutes sitting in your car outside the shop whilst playing out every conversation or encounter in your head and then never go into the shop because it closes as you have sat in the car procrastinating for so long?
reply

i always have butterflies in my stomach over small things and i randomly get nervous and just paranoid very easily. sometimes my legs shake and my hands are always really sweaty, this has happened for a while but idk if its anxiety.
reply

I try not to get like this. But it don't matter. The sleep and the stomach are the worst. I want to run away but what if I end up to far from the bathroom? So I hide in the bath room. It ends up being the cleanest room in my house.
reply

I probably don't have anxiety but whenever I need to do something minor (like go to my swimming lessons) my heart starts pumping rlly fast and I have a really hard time breathing and I cry for no reason but it eventually goes out
