I only get sleepy once every 5-7 days. Should I sleep according to that? Whenever I get sleepy, an hour or two is enough to make me a hyper, energised person. Once I stayed up til' 4 in the morning, I didnt feel sleepy whatsoever and I was just staring at the ceiling for hours. I basically just force myself to sleep and it gets me really stressed and angry as its never a good sleep if you dont need it. My forced sleeps take about an hour to get me actually asleep than closing my eyes and waiting for something to happen. So. I normally sleep at 3 or 4 and then I set an alarm to 6 in the morning to get ready for school.

Pills should not be regardes as nasty. I have tried all of this and even with pills it is difficult to sleep. That is thiat social stygma. Why it is ok to take a medicine for your blood pressure but not ok for all the nights I spent like a zoombie? Ofc psychotherapie is a golden tresor that can change your life but sometimes even with psychotherapy +sleep hygiene +anksiolitics I barely sleep and this kind of makes people feel guilty for taking pills to be able to do basic human need-sleep

I cant sleep everyday from 4 years ago xd, i doesnt happen every day, but my sleep is so irregular, that sometimes i sleep less than 4 hours or less over a week, and some days i over sleep too much, and the next day i dont sleep at all. I dont know what to do, cause i have school and i always have to wake up pretty early, around 6: 30am. But i keep staring at the roof, and when i see the hour, is suddenly 2: 00 am: (

I don't want to hate on better help since I hear it works for most people who get t but they can deny you help. when I signed up they got back to me a day later saying better help might not help me even though I've vented to my internet friends and internet strangers and it helped me greatly. again I'm sure better help works for people it tries to help but it might not even let you try so just keep that in mind

When I still was in school I had a time where I couldn't sleep well every year. My body wouldn't calm down and thus my brain too. It could last a few days or six whole weeks. I never beat it but it suddenly went away and since I am working it never came back. Lucky me.

So many people can just hit the pillow and fall asleep instantly. Meanwhile i have to come up with a complex fictional land with a plotline and everything in my head just to feel tired OOF

I've been not able to fall asleep for almost a month now. I can't fall asleep when I most wanted to, it has been affecting me mentally and physically. I'm always exhausted and sad. ;-;

I have insomnia a lot not because I think about day to day life stuff, but about deap themes and fantasy stories. I just can't get my brain to stop thinking so hard and it's annoying.

Im awake right now for the second night in a row. Nothing Ive tried has helped, longest amount of time I go without sleep is about 4 days before my brain finally gives up.

Just another tip, cherries have a high level of natural melatonin. A chemical that helps your body feel tired which will ultimately help you fall asleep.
