I like presentations as long as they are on zoom with no cameras on and I'm in a call with r or less people I know well.
In highschool, I would do something to avoid the presentation day at all costs and then at the end of the day, I'll go to my teacher and ask to do my PowerPoint presentation alone when no one but me and the teacher is at school.
Group projects are worst of all. The one class that did them was the class I had no friends in. I was great at sketching so, if I did get dragged into a group against my consent, I'll always be the artist one in the group. I also very rarely stood in front of the class. I'll just sit to the side with my laptop and there will be audio playing in the PowerPoint. Thankfully, the high schoolers didn't act like D-bags and asked actual great questions about the project. The class was ok but I'll never choose to go back willingly.

That last one gets on my nerves because for me there's often not much to share. People think just because you're quiet you must have some kind of problem. Something must be wrong with you. Then they decide to play superhero, plop themselves all up in your face, demand you respond exactly how they want you to, demand you pour out the list of severe problems you supposedly have, then demand you praise them for their grand act of kindness. Then when they realize there is no problem and they just judged you for no reason, instead of taking responsibility they cop an attitude and call you stuck up. It's so annoying.

I am an introvert and i am damn afraid of speaking up. Everything about socialising makes me afraid but i learnt to fight my anxiety - every day! It seems like torture some day but i feel it is totally worth it. I recently broke up with my girlfriend because she kept on pushing me, wanting me to act in i way an introvert cant. I am a crucial part of the local firefighting department and also a part of the municipal council. I am 31 living in my own flat and i am debt-free - i always fought and I think won
I must never give up and have to fight your biggest enemy - yourself

Its frustrating when my family says that I dont have friends, or I dont often go out in the evening cause I enjoy my own company as well. I do have a few friends that I trust and love. They dont understand that some are studying abroad which makes it difficult to meet personally. Another thing is that people call me weak because I dont consume alcohol frequently like other people. I feel pressured to the point of consuming so that I can be accepted in a friend group. Its complicated

Me: when will I be alone so I can read or go online without anyone bugging me?
My mom: Nana and Papa are coming over!
My step-dad: mostly asleep during the day
My siblings: What are you doing? Can you do me a favor? Come play with us! Get me breakfast!
My bf: We can talk if you want, but if you would rather read or do something else that is ok!
that moment when your bf understands you more than your family: well, I guess that is fine.

Ive always hated it when a quest comes over, and my mom is introducing us to them and when my mom finishes introducing my younger brothers she always says oh and this is Hannah, she is painfully shy.
And I also always hate it when people are like why are you so quiet? Do you even speak? Come on, just say it! And sometimes when the teacher calls on me they are always like oh Hannah, I know you have a quiet voice, but please speak louder. UGH! I hate it.

ever since i first noticed those words intorvert and extrovert, i didn't see them anywhere before, now i feel like im going insane or loosing my mind cuz i see them almost everywhere i read and hear, like something want to tell me something. Happened before, when i saw the movie, shutter island i first picked up the word trauma, i never heard it or read anywhere before, and shortly after i saw that word everywhere my eye could take me.

I feel all of these. Whenever my two best friends invited me out in high school, I kept wanting to stay inside my room, cozying up. I never liked clubbing. It was really draining for me but I still had fun with my besties. I went out of my comfort zone for them. We're still best friends to this day and meet up once in a while. Not as much as we used to though.

For the first one. I really only have one actual friend I talk to, even then it's only on Discord. When I feel like I need to recharge after a couple hours of talking/playing games together, I tell him I have things I have to do/take care of. While yes there are things I need to do, but they take at most five or ten minutes.

Im have social anxiety it's sucksss! I feel like on going i love to be with people and friends but anxiety won't let me to have fun it's making me feel so nervous and when im with social events like birthday or going with friend my energy get very low like im so lazy to talk or speak and i feel like im very sad and very bored
reply

I got easily get nervous because did, I don't know what's running to their mind and how do I look like. That's why I don't like self introducing it feels like cringe. That's why if I'm not familiar with my suroundings I rather eat alone and quiet. And if they're watching me can't speak clearly and getting shakey and overthinking.

Growing up I always tried to do what people thought were normal. High school. Go to the parties, games, dances, etc.
As an adult. go to the new club, house party, company event, etc.
But I really prefer not to. Riding my bike along a long road, do my hobby, etc.
All that stress because I can't/didn't want to be myself.

Introvert cannot removed that shy type style. its what they are. Nakamarka na po iyan sa kanila. its only when introverts sees comportable unto you, then u will see how talkative her then. they feel if that person is not trusted, as if what she tells is you will going to say it to someone. they hate that type of person.

I even have problem maintaining eye contact with my family members and friends. When I'm supposed to stay alone then my family members comes to interrupt me. When I don't want to talk to anyone then everyone around me gets to talk to me but when I want to talk to anyone then nobody pays attention to me

one time when i was younger, i was at some kind of hangout place with other kids and i sat alone somewhere basically for introverted reasons you know. Then my aunt came, and asked me why i was there in a very worried way. So uhm, i was a bit confused after cause i just wanted to chill lol

When I know an answer an do say it but no one hear she and then that person next to me says it and the teacher gives the credit to them and im like but teacher I said that and their like but I didn't hear you, so you have to talk louder im like w-what it isn't even that easy- wth
reply

Whenever I'm like answering a question or like reading something infront of the class my teacher is like you have to speak up and some of the students are like I didn't hear a word she said and it stopped the point I feel like I'm screaming yet I still talk so soft
reply

Introvert while dating is a bit iffy as well especially when you're someone who'd rather stay in the house a Netflix and chill or go for a walk in a park that doesn't have too many people rather then going on big grand dates with too many people around.
reply

1: 59 coming from an introvert my personal thing, when you barely get invited to parties like almost never so you'd rather just go cuz being invited means alot. tbh better than just being kinda ignored, now you're atleast acknowleged
reply

Nothing quite like when the teacher tells us to go get into groups but I don't know anybody so I have to just awkwardly sit near the least hostile-looking group and do the assignment alone while they stare me down and ask if I'm ok.
reply

Me who doesnt get stressed by that because I know what I want if the person doesnt understand that isnt my problem
I am a far sided introvert who believes bluntness no matter if it hurts is right thing to say

reply

I can relate to this soo well. Specially the first one alone time. I always struggle with it. Cuz I don't wanna hurt them but i also want to be alone. Hey if u have any solution to that then PLSS let me no
reply
