I've been married for 8years but we've been together for almost 18 years now. I feel all the signs except the attractive to another person. We have two kids both girls. I'm hating him now i don't want him to touch me were not okay 3weeks already. Even in the past months i don't feel making love or anything to him. He don't asked me to a date never did he asked US to go and have fun with our kids. He don't buy me even small things on my birthday or anniversary but he cooked for me when its my birthday. Through those years i accepted that he isn't fun of going outside when his not working
That sometimes i dated my children but he doesn't accompany us you can count on my fingers the tome we dated and with our children. years go by theirs pandemic and til now I'm trying to understand him as always i know his job is not easy as a carpenter and the salary is not that high. Since we met i already have husstles for i believe that i should not depend on my husbands salaray. If i want and need something or things i wanted to treat him or my children i used my own money. We don't fight in tems of financial, we dont actually fight like other couples i always understands him and so did he.
But there is a sulty i felt in my heart. Maybe im just tired of always have to understand and not receiving right attention, love and respect. He didn't hurt me physically nor shout out me but he is cursing everytime i pointed out his mistakes even his kids. I don't want my children to see him like that cause i know it will affect them.
Because i always avoided him i slept in my kids room which i often do so they won't think somethings off.
I don't want him come near me. I felt anger in my heart for all the love, patience, understanding, effort I've done as a good mother and a wife. I don't even buy undies or new slippers for myself its him and the kids i priority.
I felt that he don't love me cause if he do then no reason for him to have an effort to make me feel loved and important. I feel i deserve that but instead of making it out or talk over whatever our misunderstanding is or issues his been in the bad mood that he throw our plates and cursing
We don't talk so i Don't trigger him to be like that.
And since the relationship starts if one is mad, we don't argue with each other. I let him do that til he stops. my heart aches because my kids were Thier. Im so tired of tryin to understand him. The one that initiate to talk it over our Problems I've been waiting on him to initiate us to talk.
Even though this happens for 3weeks now i still take care of him cooking him meals doing laundry ad casual talks but that's all. I don't know but i feel so lonely, stressed, mad, frustrated and disappointed why i even think regretting to love and marry him but i can't do anything about it cause we have kids and i don't want my children to have a broken family it hurts me. don't know when will this end.

Ngl this all kinda sounds less like falling out of love with someone and more like letting depression and inner monologue get in the way of a happy relationship. Maybe its just my current circumstance influencing my thoughts on this, but my girlfriend and I recently broke up and I felt all of these things for the last month of the relationship before she broke up with me. I even felt like I wanted to cut things off bc it wasnt a good fit. And yet, hindsight is always 20/20.
All the things that annoyed me about her, I now miss dearly. All the people I found attractive and considered as possibly better options, dont matter at all to me. I took her for granted while I had her and now that shes moving on Im realizing how good I had it with her. How much effort she really put in to make me feel loved. Shes everything I have ever wanted in a person and I let my depression and fear of commitment push her away entirely. For much of the relationship I felt like I was getting over a previous heartbreak and wasnt sure how much I could give to her. I had all these walls built up and Id get a little cold and callous when shed try to break them down. But she broke mine down and seemingly used the planks to build up her own, and now she is completely closed off to me while I want nothing more than to fix things with her. People always say there will be someone else, and maybe there will, but Ive never had anyone show me such genuine love in my entire life and I feel like Ill never have that again. Anyway Im sad I hate everything Im gonna go pee on the 3rd rail or something

I think the love of my life is falling out of love with me, I've done a lot to hurt her and I dont know if she can ever forgive me or look past it. By no means is she entirely at fault, we both have our problems, issues, flaws. I just, I know I love her more than anything and want to be with her through it all. I just think shes tired of all the fights and arguments - the lets break up We're young and dating in secret but I truly cant imagine waking up and not having her as my go to. She's the first and last person on my mind day and night. I wake up thinking about her and go to sleep dreaming of her. What can I do, when I have so many issues and flaws that i attack the one I love I just want to be the person shes beside forever and work through it all even when im mostly to blame. I really want her, shes everything.

Broke up with my boyfriend a few days ago. We were doing long distance for majority of the relationship of a little over 3 years. It was hard for us to give each other the effort, time and willingness for each other over a screen. I know we tried but I broke it off because I was falling out of love. Staying in a relationship where I was unhappy for months. When I tried leaning on him for support and he gets furious over the phone was probably my breaking point for me. I never felt such pain, fear, abandonment and loneliness in my life. I still am deeply attached to this man. But we are young, him being 23 and I being 24 and seeing each other only a couple weeks out of the year is not it especially for me.

Ive decided to watch this video due to a recent conversation I had with my boyfriend. Im so terribly scared just to think things could end and that we should call things off, he feels like I do still love him and I feel the same, but hes also been asking if I dont want to deliver the news only because I dont want to hurt him. I dont think thats the case either, but what if I talk to a professional and it turns out it is? Im so so so scared, Ive been crying nonstop recently, but I dont think we relate to the things in this video, maybe were just in that stage where things are not as new as before and were comfortable with each other, I dont mind that, but I want to stop feeling so scared.

SUMMARY with time stamps:
1. 0: 47 You notice more of their flaws
2. 1: 20 You dont communicate as much
3. 1: 54 You spend less time with them
4. 2: 24 You feel more attracted to other people
5. 2: 58 You stop picturing a future with them
6. 3: 34 You stop prioritizing your relationship
7. 4: 07 Youve lost respect for them
I recommend watching the video for more info and details.
(also it would be nice if Psych2Go put these kinds of summaries along with time stamps in their description so that it would be easier to find what we are looking for if we don't have the time to rewatch the video.

He communicates with me but stops giving efforts. Saying promises and not making them. Its the disappointments over and over again that makes me care less.
for the moment, i felt like not connected to him. The last straw maybe was i saw a chat a girl that says, you said you'll visit me this monday And the rest of thr convo are deleted. That monday he was with me, making love with me
Then i saw that chat. After that, coldness starts in me. I have no interest in what he does, he talks and talks but im too tired to listen.

i needed this. i havent been happy. i havent been for a while now. he lost motivation for everything. even laundry and cooking. he and i arent compatible and it sucks. but a forever love wasnt an option. it was an inevitable end. i loved him. ill just have to miss him. he loved me, but isnt in love with me. games over me. plans with me were easy to forget. he cancelled on me and i stayed at work to avoid him. our love lost all its beauty and i unfortunately became such an ugly person in the end. xoxo. s

Been having this for a few weeks, he doesn't know just yet. It started with less communication, loss of prioritizing, and that's when the rose-colored glasses fell off. Everything he does bothers me, but he's still my friend. We aren't in an actual relationship, but we were in love. I've started to lose respect for him due to him constantly bringing up traumatizing events in my life, not respecting my personal space, and not listening to me. I might update when I tell him.

I am amazed at all the comments saying how much it hurt to fall out of love, which it does, but nobody saying how they tried to make things work better or let their other know about this rather than just lying and stringing them along, which I find to be abhorrently self centered. If you were trying active steps to keep the relationship together is one thing, but selfishly allowing them to love you while you have doubts is such an evil dishonest act to me.
reply

The worst part is when you break up, only to find that you still love them, even if things felt jaded (Because you let everyday routine get to you mostly. And it hurts them so bad they can't and won't make up because the wound is too deep or they feel betrayed and can't forgive. You are hurt, they are hurt and it's all over something that boils down to you being too lazy, uncaring or foolish to enkindle the flame.

im scared that im losing feelings for him. we've only been dating for 2 weeks and iwes so in love w him so idk what happenedm. im js not feeling it rn, and idk if i ever will. if i did even fall out ofblove how am i supposed to tell him? i can't break him, he's literally obsessed w me, and i was obsessed e him for a while now. but i think obsession doesn't last as long as love so we were never meant to be

Weve been dating for 7 months already. And those 6 months was the best months in my life I had with him. But. When we hit the 7th month, hes so. dry. 1: 20 I relate to this so much. We used to spam stickers to each other, chat abt memes and he always gave me pick up lines. Now. Its like he didnt even want to keep up the conversation and it lasted 1 - 5 minutes.

I have fallen out of love with someone I have been for 10 years. I have given everything to turn the ship around. But it seems to not work. She feels it and I feel devestated to hurt someone I have so much respect for and who has been my best friends for a decade. I never want to love anymore. I never want to hurt someone anymore.

I feel like my boyfriend is falling out of love, it makes me so sad to think about it because i feel like I may be too, but i dont wanna give up on it, we were so happy in the start, and its long distance too.
(We see each other about once a month, (i visit him for like a eek or so) and it jsut worries me so much

reply

Iv been experiencing all of these for many months with this girl, who I care about so much, but my dedication and effort and love has faded completely and I know what needs to happen but this would be her first break up and I dont want to hurt her, especially since shes still in love deeply. It sucks man
reply

whats sad is i dont relate to this but this relates to my situation. my ex partner had lost his feelings for me and dragged me on and pretended to still love me. i feel i was emotionally abused by them due to them dismissing my feelings and concerns. i know im very late but i just wanted to say that.
reply

My wife recently decided to end things. I knew she was losing interest in the relationship but I thought we would work things out. She decided to break it off and it's the hardest thing I've had to cope with. We were not only partners but best friends and I hate not having her in my life any more
reply

Literally, watching your partner fall out of love with you literally nothing you can do but try and hope that they dont actually doing is the worst part. Im literally going through it now, AGAIN, worse than ever before and I just want to give up everything. And yes, I mean give up on everything.
reply

Love is not a feeling its a commitment. Of course a person need to sit down and evaluate a relationship as far as being friends first nothing more nothing less before they even commit on being talking about marriage its called unconditional love, meaning that its not based on a condition
reply

Same thing happened with me in my relationship i just broke up. but i feel guilty i feel guilty that i hueted him. i feel like i used him. i feel like i am the villain here but i don't know i just can't help myself and this feeling. i hope he satys Happy cuz he deserves someone better
reply

Its a fact women initiate a huge majority of breakups/divorce. Why? Because women are hypergamous, always looking to level up. That, and women are mostly estrogen, estrogen = emotion/feelings & feelings change faster & more often than the weather.
Women can be so very cruel.
