I've been called both a leader and scholar. At work, my introverted tendencies have been noticed to where people think that I should be promoted to a position that's higher up in the hierarchy of retail positions, and in the past, some have repeatedly tried to convince me on the matter despite any rebuttals I make. Deep down, I recognize and appreciate the intention that comes with these offers (I've been an employee at my current store for nearly 5 years. I just feel like I need space sometimes. Space to think, process, and make my own decisions without the enthusiastic persuasion of others.

I would consider myself to be an omnivert swinging towards introverted, not extroverted but not very introverted at all, i can feel pretty comfortable around people of my age who I don't even know very well, but i find myself wanting to be alone often and posses many of the attractive traits mentioned in this video, unfortunately my attention is awful, if it was good I be so much better in my life

Another point about introverts in leadership positions:
The ability to listen and focus on the real problems, consider short- and long-term solutions and the affect they will have on others. Thinking things through before you respond to situations is something we all need in a leader. It'd be nice to have that in our dept.

I agree with all of the points. The idea of focusing I can relate to. At work I find it important to function well, yet have other thoughts running somewhere in the background. Being independent also. I find it liberating being a free agent if you will. Helping where needed, yet not getting overly attached.

I am like 70/30 introvert it depends how i feel that day mostly. I do have maybe 1 or 2 friends i spend a good amount of time with. I relate to probably 6/7 of these points. Sometimes i cannot live without interaction of my best friend and sometimes(mostly) i want to eb alone forever

Hmm. im extraverted but i dont act like a self absorbed friend. I listen very carefully to my friends. Im also very observant. Actually maybe im both introverted and extraverted. I dont think its cookie cutter, we all have varying levels of introversion and extraversion.

I am 17 years old and am a introvert and am shy and quite and relaxed and happy and love music and art and I love watching cartoons and also spend time with my family and friends and I love lockdown its very fun and less noisy sometimes.

I spent years trying to talk more/be more extroverted. within less than 1 day, all of it gone. so now Im becoming my old self. I like my old self, I just dont like why Im becoming my old self (my old self said less than 20 words a day)

I alwyas loved beang and I still am introvert but true I am listener I love to do it alone time is good in teen I ways wanted to go to outside school trips but later no becues I mabye preferred alone becues it is better

I gotta say that my favorite perk about being the quite loner kid is that I have a good relation with my teachers, I am not saying that I am the favorite I am just saying that they respect me and I respect them

I've noticed for a while now that although not all introverts are HSP most(70%) of HSP are introverts so naturally their good and bad qualities are alike, that makes me happy for some reason
