All great points. But unfortunately u end up adopting negative emotions and sometimes even trauma from others and internalize it. Like wt if this was me? It could have been me? and even when u make the right decision all u can think about r all the ways u could've messed up or hesitated. Despite the fact that I'm known for giving good advice and rlly listening. this has made me an Emotionally mature pessimistic empath.

Maybe I just need to emotionally mature more. As I am a very logical thinker and my emotions come 2nd. Like I am more offended if something bad happened to my family or friends than if it happened to me. So much so that I think adopting the emotions of others to understand them has helped them, but confused my inner self.

This is why I hate late night talks! I'm being carried away by the emotions, as when a friend is telling me their problems that burdens them.
I can't help but to be with them, since they're asking my presence, even my godfather a day before this, asked me to talk to him with some coffee and snacks along the road on their house.
I don't know why, but I have that kind of stuff when it comes to emotions, and I'm always the buddy of my friends when they need to open up something.
But I'm glad that I'm being trusted!
I don't have circle of friends yet, but thanks to your videos Ma'am! I'm starting to change a bit of my social skills, I mean lately, I don't socialize at all, but when I learn things as I watch your videos, I've improved!

Thanks to you I already had no more doubts on what I experience meaning I belong to the group of empaths. But it's still great to learn more about what everyday behaviours stem from it. Since it's sometimes difficult to tell what is connected and what not. And it gets clearer by seeing these and by noticing when ppl from one group reflect to me they don't share that part of my experience while in another group it's normal: D
It's really important, because I need to reevaluate what I can or cannot likely find in another person's skill set. Which determines if offering an advice is likely to help or cause more damage (because they e. g. feel it's impossible for them to do)

I definitely must be an empath. This video describes me very accurately.
One of the most frustrating things I go through in life is witnessing when people are incapable of putting themselves in someone elses shoes.
Its even worse when youre in a relationship with a person like that and they view your need of alone time and time for hobbies as just an excuse to get away from that person, and you end up having to use all of your emotional energy trying to make it up to them.

i can feel others emotions by thinking about their situation or when they text me or when im with them but i hope that im understanding the right emotions to be there for them but i will cry bcs someone close to me father died before we ever met yet i feel so sad when i look at their pictures together and its not even my family i might just be sensitive idk
reply

Yess! im hsp and i go through the day sometimes sad because i understand people so well it hurts that i understand their emotions. Im observant and i know which people to avoid because when i see people talking, the body language and how they treat people without them even talking to me gives me a vivid idea of what their personality is like!

I know no one asked for this but heres what a moonlight empath is: D
1. You love crystals
2. You feel inlove with the moon: )
3. You dont like it when its a sunny day and theres no clouds in the air.
4. You love the rain, or any kind of gloomy weather.
Thats really all I got: P I am a moonlight empath myself: D

I'm Actually Very Sorry To Say This Right Now My Dear Friend's From Psych2Go But I Sincerely Just Feel Like I Am Just Absolutely Totally Broken In Every Single Way, And That I Will Never Be Able To Be Fixed Ever Again To Be Honest With You Sorry To Say, Your Friend Zer0!

I relate to all of them.
P. s. I just watched a video of a cat who was abandoned for 20 years was found by a kind woman. I felt that cats emotional pain. I was so upset about it. How could her owners do that to her? I guess I can sometimes sense an animals emotions.

reply

I feel like an empath cuz I just want others to comfortable around me and cuz I literally don't have big problems. But because of that, im scared for when someone really bad happens to me in the future I don't want to lose my way. Anyone have advice
reply

I use to identify with most of those but after so many years all i can see to look forward to is the end. If it was for my fiance, my pup, and my therapist I would just be a stat and your vids have given me a small sense of peace. so thank you
reply

I love this and I needed this reassurance of my true self; u also forgot how to handle a narcissist through hard silence and attention to the detail thereof and most importantly NOT TO REACT TO THEIR BS IN THE FIRST PLACE!
reply

I think i mightve been an emotionally mature person at one point but not so much any more. I have poor boundries and no idea how to feel, let alone express, certain feelings and im beginning to feel resentful because of it
reply

I'm an ISFJ and these signs are very relatable. People think I'm too soft just because I am compassionate. It can be a nuisance, but I'm used to it. Psych2Go! I love your videos and continue your positive work.

I've always been able to tune into other people's emotions and it had always been hard to distinguish between theirs and my own, but where I am now in life in my emotional state - this explains a lot

Has anyone else here just look at something like the changing of leaves, or the smell of fall. And just be filled with so much joy and excitement? And wonder about the beauty of it? Or is that just me?
reply

I fit all of these except number 6. I still struggle with having compassion for myself. I do understand the importance of patience and am patient with others. But my key struggle is all how I view me.

What happened show only bit angry or mad for yourself & other individuals?
It's that okay?
Why do we all feel different situation?
Why can people learn?
Know how control or manage emotions

reply

I dont know but i think i am familiar whit these things but when it comes on empathy like read emotions from others i cant tell how that person feel.
I edmire these type of people

reply

I feel like I have learned emotional maturity. I don't always practice emotional maturity, but I actively try to do all the things that make an emotional empath who they are.

some traits resonate with in me, Im an empath, but not a mature one, that much I know. theres still a lot I have to work on for me to grow up as an empath.
reply

I know I'm more on the mature side, but I'm not 100% there. This video definitely is going to help me grow into the emotionally mature empath I seek to be.
reply

I'm probably about 90% there. I can still be a bit immature in some ways & still am highly critical of myself, but I'm working on improving this
reply

I'm definitely an emotionally mature empath. We can also set boundaries so people don't drain our energy. This takes time and practice.
