Not me thinking every little thing a man does for me is just him being nice. I'm TOO USED to guys making it painfully obvious to the point it's uncomfortable. Trying to act too manly around me, and show me their best qualities and 1up themselves or try to 1up me etc. And I know the difference between when a guy treats me like a bro vs not interested at all. That it's hard to gauge the other ones that are very subtle and do things very with like small hints. And I get it, because who wants to get rejected but I'm over here like is he being nice, nah he can't be, what if he's being nice, fck what other question can i ask him, how else do i drop hints im interested so he makes a full on move! T_T
Me: Maybe he's just being nice.
Him: sends me his work schedule See you next time! Hope to see you soon. I can help you with that! I got it! puts my gloves on for me pulls me close to the point I'm noticing he's a MAN in a good way! And I'm internally screaming because it's just so intimately close I can hear and feel his breathing.

Take this video with a grain of salt. Was really close friends with a girl that we've been very platonic with. We were friends for a year and did tik every checkmark on this list that says we're just friends. After she get out of a multiple year relationship she would always tell me about the guys she was talking to. One of our friends made a joke how me and her should date and she said That would be incest, he is like a brother to me. But I had developed feelings for her, didn't ask her out basically just let her know I fancy her. Things escalated and now we're dating. Turns out she had a thing for me as well, I asked her why she didn't show any signs at all and she said she was sacred since she believed I didn't look at her that way and was afraid not to weird me out and ruin things.

I thought a guy at work was flirting with me turns out he's just that kind of a guy which irritates me it feels like Heat plays with people's emotions to stroke his own ego we were getting along great and once I said I liked him he acts offended and like he doesn't even want to talk to me anymore like am I really that repulsive that me being attracted to someone makes them hate me this has happened several times before and it's not just my opinion I always ask friends that I trust to help me interpret Behavior because I know I am neurodiverse and misinterpret things so if I have a bunch of trusted friends telling me that behavior seems like flirting why is it such a horrible thing for me to assume it is

Me and my crush are in a tricky situation:
We are best friends since childhood, although I feel we've grown a bit apart due to not being in the same class for a couple years.
She knows I like her, because I've told her and gave her hints many times, although she hasn't said anything about it yet, so I don't push her too hard.
She isn't physical with anybody in general, so I rarely see her hug or be hugged by somebody.
This whole situation feels like I had a straight road to success, but I caused a couple bumps in the way. I managed to patch them up well enough, but now it's no longer a straight road, it's an overly complicated route with lots of turns and loops and whatever.

As a guy raised in Eastern Europe, friendships between males and females usually are onsided, I've been on both ends of the spectrum, and it is hurtful. I had to friendzone females and females friendzoned me. It wasn't until I got older that I realised that these kind of things are virtually impossible for me, it made some of my relationships tough to be in as I ended things first because of a guyfriend who had a crush on my partner or or my partner being jealous of my female friends who found ne attractive. I tried the friendship route, and it always ended up in either sides catching feelings.

Yipeeeeee I'm so happy that I'm not in her friendzone. We are more than friends but I still don't think she actually LOVES me. I don't have a crush on her, I LOVE HER. but recently when she and my 3 other friends were playing truth and dare with other 3 boys, one chutiya boy gave a dare to his friend to kiss my friend's hand. both agreed and when he kissed her hand as per the dare, both of 'em blushed SO HARD. I was a bit jealous but if he is the one who makes her happy then I don't have a problem since I'm planning my suicide during my twenties and I don't want her to feel extreme remorse

And then you happen to be French. this fantastic language where friend can also mean boy/girl friend. So when someone says he/she is my friend, the only info you got is that these two are not married xD. Do people play with this ambiguity? Oh yeah. Here it's obvious for everyone that between friends there is always some kind of flirting (at the very least.

Getting friendzoned hurts, but you have to learn to take losses. Take the L and move on, wether that means not seeing that person again or just going on normally. The worst thing you can do is to try to get out of it. That path is full of misery, remember it's awkward for your crush too. Just my opinion, not facts.
reply

Oh well maybe they dont understand what a side chick is and how they are permanently stuck in that position of retardedness. Keep wasting your life because you are not able to understand the difference between women and men's Friends Zones.
reply

If you don't want to get into friends zoned, then you're better to move on to learn to love by someone else, then you can came back show you love ones your real quality, sometimes love is about the timing not who you are in real life. :)

As friendship matures, then the Intensity arrives. I really want an emotional touchy, hugging Relationship. But Im too old, yet unable to have children. Adopt yes, have children as normally ( I cant unfortunately, due to a relapse)
reply

3: 44 That is bs, I didn't initiate touch ever even for friends I had a crush on, because how weird would that be,
if the status of relationship is not settled and your friend starts being very touchy.

reply

When my crush told me who they had a crush on I was heartbroken and it felt like he had ripped out my heart and crumpled and thrown away like a piece of paper 3 years later we are girlfriends boyfriend
reply

After this video maybe i'd describe it that way: I'm more than in the friendzone but i'll never reach the loverzone because of social impossibilities.
Sad but hey, thats life.

reply

i don't like assumtion 'just friends' not lovers.
friendship for me is more valid then 'jus lovers' it's nice to have lovers, but if he/she is not a friend it's just meh; )

reply

horrible sensation to have double speed on the video and this woman s voice is still at moments very slow. as if it wasn t hard enough to listen to a woman for whole minutes.
reply

F. I always knew that I was friend zoned but I always tried to justify it. But after watching this video, there isn't any hope. I unfortunately fit into all the boxes.
reply

Okay but Fiona was rude to bring someone to the dinner without telling Daphne, she invited her. Not Derek. So she's not that much of a good friend anyway
reply

First you need to be friends for it to be a relationship worth pursuing imo. when all you have in common is liking each others looks, that wont last.
reply

I felt pain hearing this, as a sociopath who managed to start liking my best friend, this hurt me. but what's worse, friendzone or Bortherzone?
reply

when I talk to other boys my crush start talking about the person I talked and meare in love with each other, does that mean he loves me? or not?
reply

I wish I'd seen this earlier. would have avoided me quite the embarrassment.
Well, she _is_ my girlfriend now, so I guess it all worked out.
