The sides in the mentality
- The Inner demon
The manifestation of lust, being put below your self worth, the fear of completely being taken over
Everyone has them, it is true that you and your inner demons can't exist without the other.
- The angel
Manifestation of good intentions, irrational and unrealistic need to be the hero, and love
Yout heart may be good but it has done unintended harm.
-The human
Sometimes worse than the literal monster, sometimes redeemed (or just a human)
If it's only human, the why is being human defined as being the human species?
- The glitch
The broken parts of us, the desire to be complete, the sence of opinion beyond a literal extant
I am the parts you gave up not to die in this world you forget the troubles in the past because you now have new ones, and you don't even realize that it also means the people of the future will have it worse than you do now.
- The caged mind
Aware of what lies behind the mental jail walls, unable to surpass the bars of obedience, still has the strength to fight back
Supposedly, being inside the box is good, yeah right like isolation ever helped anyone get better
Ultimately to say you can only go down one of these mental paths or only one of the mental paths I didn't list is actually the end of life

I fit the first 4. For the 5th, I consider myself a morally grounded person but a person who is neither good nor bad. I believe anyone on the moral spectrum can be morally grounded (for instance, Negan from the show The Walking Dead was a bad person but he was a morally grounded person, in an apocalyptic scenario he would have had my full respect and I would have loved to follow him, and it is these people, as well as good people who are good without the need to be morally grounded, I can respect. Being morally grounded means you have principals that you can follow and stay true to no matter what life throws at you. Being morally grounded means you can choose between right and wrong in nearly every ethical scenario without the assistance of religion or an Ethics class, but because of what you personally believe (my answer to the Trolley problem is different than the Ethics answer, but I feel strongly and confident about my answer and what I believe is right. To put it another way, being morally grounded is like being chaotic on the DnD grid. Being chaotic means you have a wild but a personal way of living, being lawful means you live following solely what is lawful or for what your religion or organization dictates.

I can relate to number 2.
For example, one time I was in a party with the scouts inside the school dinner hall, and I started getting bored after a while. So I just walked around walked around minding my own business until I saw this door I always walk through to get my special diet on my school days, it said on a patch that the door was larmed and I said to myself that
Yeah no, I don't really believe that's true. I've walked through here many times before and nothing of that has ever happened. And so I opened the door, and to my suprise it was larmed. So we all evacuated the school dinner hall and I felt really bad about myself, so I walked over to my dad who were a scout leader at the time and confessed even though I knew he'll be mad at me.
After a while I forgot about it ever happening, my dad got a message that the chefs who worked in that dinner hall were fine about the accident, because there were children younger than me (babies) who also could have set the larm on. And so my dad walked over to me to hug and forgive about shouting at me about the accident.

To me being a good person is being open about other people's opinions, belief, and ideas even if they're different or don't agree with them. To me being a good person doesn't matter necessarily about any of your particular values, you can believe in human rights, justice, fairness for all, and being kind to others and not necessarily be a genuine good person. To me, what makes a good person means that you take advice and reflect on your actions to become a better person and grow when you realize you did something wrong and not always thinking everyone else is in the wrong, being a good person to me is someone who realizes not everyone is perfect and to learn to love them in their own flawed ways because we all make mistakes, even those we love do and part of loving them is accepting them.

Oh. this hit hard. I have been struggling with myself, recently. I occasionally remember negative experiences, randomly. I try to learn from them, but they haunt me when I try to put it all in the past. On top of that, I get blamed for things that I do not think are actually my fault, but there is usually no clearing my name up. I feel like my personality does not suit well with most. I feel so different from everyone I have met. I honestly do not know how I have dealt with it for so long. Maybe I am underrating myself a ton, but I feel so. different it hurts at times. I will find some way to cheer up; I always do.
Hey, writing this down as a comment actually helped.

3: 00 4A: You own a Nintendo Switch and play Deltarune.
Owning a Nintendo Switch means you have good taste, and want to play good games. One of those good games, Deltarune, is part of the works of indie game maker Toby Fox, whose works are often described as emphasizing compassion and good judgement, as well as quirky humor.
Having either of these traits means you have good taste, and good judgement, and you may be better than you think as a result!
(this post is clearly intended as humorous, but still, I can't find the lie in my writing lol)

I don't think you're a good person if you give to others in order to win brownie points with your God or other such value keeping system, and I don't believe you're a good person if you don't take a care for yourself either. You gotta put yourself in the other person's shoes, but still protect yourself. Don't give your own shoes away and end up barefoot! Really it's all about the success of the group, if you look at it anthropologically. A group succeed and perpetuate when they co-operate.

I need help on not being a pushover. I have been told by other people that i am one and If you dont like something then just dont do it. However even if i dont like it i end up doing it anyways. I need help cause i fear that it is a serious problem because, i cave into everything.
Btw you have amazing videos. When i get out of boot camp i am definately going to therapy because, something is definatly wrong with me. ;-;

being a good person to me is if that person is nice to you. you feel happy in some way or feel comfortable around them. people say that im a good person because im kind, nice, understanding and always have time to help them feel more happy, calm or comfortable. people also say that when i laugh or smile they feel happy. i guess thats what other people i met think is a nice person, but i still didn't relate to anything in this video

this. seriousmy is not me
1) sure i try, but sometimes i do avoid challenges alltogether
2) i try, but it takes long for me to realize. we are talking years here
3)not always for sure, though i do get attached to some people, considering i have not yet taken any leader role, i keep my compassion mostly for people i know.
4) i try, but i need to relax a lot.
5) i consider myself good enough.

The most valuable lesson i have learned so far is that you always should listen to others opinion, because someone that is outside of the picture can see the things differently than the one how is inside of it, and so far i must say it halpet me.
Also thank you very much for making these videos and reading all the materials for it, I'm sure its very interesting, you convenienced me already.

I believe that a good person, is just someone who helps others, even if not neccessarry and doesn't expect something in return. And sees the good side of other people, not the bad sides. And a good person is someone that doesn't give up. NEVER. I really wish I could be that person, or at least come as close as possible to being that someone

No, no, no, no, and no. And I also think that I'm absolutely disgusting pile of filthy, smelly, useless pile of shit. So, what? Another one of countless confirmations that I am bound to be worst person ever? Now I'm even more depressed

In response to number 5, I think a really important trait for someone to have is the strength and the courage to try. They dont have to succeed all the time, but they should be willing to try and to learn from the experience.

Thanks for the great content. I struggle with the latter of number 4. I need to learn to put my own oxygen mask first before contributing/helping others. that's last week's homework from my therapist.

on the number 2 one, when I face my mistakes and apologies about it, the people I have wronged keeps it as a reminder that I am a horrible person and should not be trusted.

The growth mindset is super duper important. My school teaches it, in the sense that they are always talking to us about it and trying to promote it.
