If someone is emotionally scarred, it's hard for them to communicate with others. Especially if they've been ignored by the one person they feel the closest too. And it makes matters worse if they have a crush, with all the conversation they have to do and things like that. It's incredibly difficult for them to talk to tell crush or respond to their crush when their crush says hi. The person feels insecure that their crush might ignore them if they try to talk to them, since they were ignored by the one person they felt closest too. It gives them that sense of feeling that their crush might reject them and negative thoughts like that. The person then has trouble communicating with their crush about the problem, which makes their crush feel like they never liked them in the first place, and it hurts the person even more, to the point that they could barely speak to their crush because they feel that insecure. The person is left to just mirror their crush, and show the other sings that they like their crush, stressed at the fact that if they don't tell their crush the truth. things will end between the two of them.
-And that person. -
-is me. -

The teasing thing is real. Not my crush but with a past boyfriend, I loved and trusted him completely so I confessed a phobia that I developed from very real trauma. Without getting too personal, I became fearful of a certain type of natural disaster. So whenever warnings for that natural disaster were sent out and sirens went off, I'd be filled with anxiety and would have panic attacks. He saw that vulnerable side of me. The first time, he was somewhat supportive, but after it happened a few times, he began cracking jokes about it when I was mid-attack and crying. Eventually, he confessed to me and our mutual friends that found it annoying because it was illogical. Back to the teasing point, over time, his teasing and making fun of me really broke me down inside and I didn't feel loved. It got so bad that I once requested for him to compliment me, to which the conversation pretty much ended in him saying he wasn't going to compliment me just because I asked him to. Yikes. Anyway, not saying that everyone who teases the person they like will end up like this but do keep in mind that over time, you can wear someone down if you don't balance your jokes.

Hey I guys I need your advice.
So I had this crush on a guy, but he didnt know me. So me and my friend started to talk to him we spoke 3 times with him, I just stood there I couldnt talk bc I was so nervous. But I finally talked to him alone and we had this long conversation about hobbies, what we like to do and stuff like that, it was also akward but ye. But after some time I realised I didnt have a chance so i tried to avoid him, and bc I thought he would find me wierd. But after 3 months I saw him again and my crushing came back so I need help
Should I just move on or should I text him on social media. Or just go to him and talk to him?

The first one is so true. I always seem to ignore my crush. I secretly admire him so much but whenever I am around him I completely ignore him coz I don't wanna seem like I am interested in him or show him that I like him coz he's just too good. We used to talk a bit better b4 than now until I kinda started ignoring him. I know he stares at me sometimes but I totally ignore that too. I am just so awkward and nervous around him that I don't know what to do. I really wanna talk to him easily but idk how to do that and about what I should talk

I pushed her away long ago when it seemed she was taking a mild interest in me. I want no broken heart nor emotional turmoil. I spared myself the eventual breakup and went into avoidance mode. She eventually quit trying to contact me or get familiar with me. We never went through any emotional hardships nor broke up. There was never a, we. When one is unlikable, it is always best to avoid others that may take an interest in you. It will spare you a lot of pain. Preemptive avoidance is a great tool for the socially inept.

i accidentally ghosted him for almost all day cuz i tried to help him when he felt ill but he didnt seem to care about my affection towards him or anything to the point where it made me feel like he didnt appreciate me so i felt too sad to reply for a while and it caused a huge problem cuz he later asked me why i ghosted him and when i told him that i felt unappreciated he didnt even thank me for giving him lots of advice and care and now he doesnt want to talk to me much anymore even tho i apologized in person: (

this entire video was literally just me and my crush. wow. at this point I give up. i don't like him anymore he's not worth it. I've never even had a conversation longer than like 3 sentences with him because whatever I say, he just says something dry, sarcastic, or joking back. he goes back and forth from moderately acknowledging me to completely ghosting me. when he does try to be nice to me, I act mean and say things I don't mean for the sake of my dignity. ugh. this cycle is killing me and I give up now.

Okay here's the thing. I am a very shy person and I have a huge crush on this guy who's also very shy. The problem is that he seems like he always has something to say to me (I've caught his secret glances multiple times and zillion eye contacts) and whenever we actually talk we really connect on a personal level and share many common likes and interests but still it seems like he's still left with something else to say. So what next?
reply

Okay, but I pushed my crush away because he has a GF and I felt like I was his classroom GF based on interactions and such, its a weird situation, but as much as you may like or love someone, its better to focus and love yourself more than your crush and all. To clarify I didnt ghost him, but I attempted to keep a distance and hopefully hell have time and distance away from me to figure himself out.

I try to stay away or Ill keep thinking about them and then I just get sad or numb for no reason and I hate it because I act differently. It makes you go insane for no reason and I talk to them but you know. Now I understand why the songs are made. Im pretty sure everybody knows that feeling. I do anything bad to them. I just talk to them as any other person. But why am I commenting this in 1: 19 am?

i dont know if there is anything to do in the situation ill describe but im already getting desperate.
my crush exaustively ghosts me and have already a suposed partner yet i can, t stop felling they like me back im tapping into insanity here the sheer impotence i fell is enough to worsen my day but the very worst is seeing them every day daydreaming about them just to be ignored like i dont exist.

My crush is happy now with someone.
I kinda don't have any regrets that I ignored him
I just know that He doesn't really care. He never cared.
feelings fade through time.
I cut off every connection I have with him fo my peace of mind even our mutual friends. His actions hurts me emotionally.

As much as rejection hurts, disapointment hurts more. I understand a person why they would reject me because im not the man theyre looking for but when someone enters your life and expecting to get something only to get disapointed even if you tried your best it crushes you so bad that makes you wanna give it up
reply

The thing is my crush flirts with me a ton but I'm not doing the same back since my quiet friend is obsessed with her I'm trying to get them together but I'm not sure it's possible since she's the hottest person at my school and he's shy and gets ignored when trying to talk to her.
reply

Dont be overly nice and continue to advance if they dont show any interest in you back. If they are talking to you and appreciate gifts then that doesnt mean they like you. That is how you make them uncomfortable and distance themselves from you.

Moral of the story: Don't be a Tsudere in real life, sure it may seem cute in Anime but it's very annoying irl and when you ask them out and they rejected you, don't wonder why, you just need to know that you were treating them like a dog

But my crush suddenly ignore me, and now I am not obsessed anymore since my life is way better than his. I got crush on his life tbh when I know him better and only when he wears glasses. He is wearing contact lens now, so less to no crush
reply

I had a long-term crush. She was my best friend. I've been liking her for the last 2-3 years. I just ignored and ghosted her out of nowhere because I know that she doesn't feel the same way and our friendship will be over soon.
reply

The first one, I struggle with it, mostly out of embarrassment. I avoid eye contact and basically try to make myself invisible for fear of giving my feelings away to whoever it is. It's not great, but I'm working on it. =)
reply

The problem is we don't have enough conversation cause of me, that's why we need to start from being friends so that he doesn't feel too insecure about himself and this relationship. I'll make the first move

Suddenly Getting Ghosted By The Person You Love Without Knowing The Reason And Where You Went Wrong Is Like Killing Yourself Again And Again. Don't Really Know How To Express Those Feelings.

My gf teases me often and I say I know she means no harm by what she says and is only teasing I can say it does cause u to want to talk less and initiate less boundaries peeps
reply

Bad humor (or dark humor) is also a way to be rejected, i realize after my crush told me how other boys just did it lol- now i have the over heaven amount of humor.
reply

I do all of these, but I am not afraid of rejection, as my crush is married. People think he likes me also, but I have to push him away BECAUSE he's married.

I used to brag about going to the military all the time and going to the elite special forces and I used to say I wanted to be a war criminal I was a dumb dumb
