This might be seen as kind of an attack on many people but I just got out of a rough relationship with a girl with Bipolar, and Ocpd its hard to find much resource pertinent to the more toxic aspects of it all. its often written out of immediately stressed-out biases.
Edit: ya this kinda sounds like it is too.
I honestly feel so gaslit in the end.
I know Im not the best in how I handle things and I am certainly not a model citizen for mental health an addict as well. Regardless to better understand, I would really appreciate seeing this topic managing mutually poor / opposing-in-struggle mental health issues in relationships, or how to really do things like come to compromise, or come to a point where I do not need to accept fault as permanence (in 3 years, I was 100 percent the only one who had fault honestly as cruel as a lot of this sounds, the Depp / Heard trial is almost close to it, idk, Im no longer with her but to recognize and actually be able to help in episodes (no matter what I did, I was more or less spoken to as a catalyst overall before the idealizing, before the you are all that helps me type flowery speech)
Idk, I sound ignorant I think.
But Id tried so much I know Im good to the people I love, I guess nobody on here can really know the verity of that but Im saying
She had me living at her immediate ex boyfriends house, was overwhelmed by every single thing I said, but if we did not see each other for a week I was suddenly her soulmate 0 respect for my boundaries, mind-blowing double-standards. that were never allowed to be addressed.
Ive been severely depressed she had told me multiple times to never talk about how I feel, since it could affect her. That if i think or feel suicidal it is whatever only to not stress her with it.
Like some part of me knows i am still ignorant here, I know she has been through it, as well as there for me / but this felt mentally abusive as hell.
Anyways no doubt better than I have explained it;
I can imagine these relationships are commonly contentious, and of course its relevant I guess under the pretence of me feeling psychological similarities / behaviours mimicked from explanation in the trial by Dr Curry her and Amber have similar behavioural complexes (not incl physical violence) to make it much less vague- a video on some side of this spiel would again, be appreciated.

Im not sure these are helpful to people who suffer from social anxiety. Personally, I have trouble voicing my truths because 1) I dont want to hurt their feelings which ties into 2) they tend to interpret my words and actions negatively when thats not my intention. Its important to see this as a two way thing, if you judge them and distance yourself from them rather than taking the step to listen to them, then its likely theyll do the same in response. With enough repeated situations, this will cement their misunderstandings as truths. If you care about the relationship, stay firm and wait for the storm to die down because its hard to make decisions when emotions are clouding your judgement. Let positive emotions guide you and let negative emotions go.
While I dont think my relationship will ever go back to normal, Im glad that I stayed a bit longer to see their side and hopefully learn to be more open with what I want and think. I cannot lie that I wish to cut away this relationship and this feeling altogether, but I dont want this to be a hurdle that stops me from growing in the future, so Im pushing forward for a better tomorrow.
Also, its best to distance oneself from the idea that we are the good guy/victim in the situation when we havent accounted for the other side. Dont do things suddenly, but also dont stay in an environment that fills you with negativity. Its healthy to keep everything at a distance when it becomes overwhelming. Keep calm and carry on.

I have this friend who I made year's ago but when we started this school year together we were really cool but then I met this new friend and me and her hanged out together then I introduced them to eachother I thought everything would be fine but when we got back to school on January they hanged out with eachother even more and then they left me and I was confused, I didn't mind though but they would sit together, speak to eachother and have fun but when I was with one of them alone they would stay quiet and go with there other friends but no matter how much I tried to fit in I just couldn't and then I gave up, they would always speak bad about this teacher and when I told one friend to stop she said, I feel bad for the teacher, but she is so boring, I don't like her teaching style and then I kept quite until they came to me and said what my other friend said to the teacher and they would laugh cause it was funny and seeing how our teacher is dumb, and I said stop. Suddenly, one day they said to me, The reason why we don't talk to you is because you don't have the same interests as us. And that stood out to me and I just don't know if I should stop being their friends or not. I tried to end it but they kept saying no.

1. She ALWAYS wants to hang out.
2. She often brings me down and says how bad I am, how big my nose is rude under the mill things.
3. Very much not humble, one time I told her abt the guy on the sidelines (We were at track practice) and I said look at him he's doing a funny stretch, then she went on about how he was staring at her and her ass and how she thought that he was surprised at how fast she was. (She really isn't even that good) This makes it seem like we are in 6th grade.
4. Shes pretty judgemental of others but after a bit you can convince her of being open minded.
5. Uhh she's pretty honest, she always tells if I look bad or if something is messed up, she's good if I need someone to tell me my shirt looks ugly.
She's constantly mean to me and I question being friends with her, but she says I'm her favorite friend, she sends me genuine letter saying that she can always trust me and feels that I have her back. She isn't rude to any other friends, unless they get in the way of something. like C my friend got in a better race than her, so she got mad and told C that she should be in that spot instead of C. So I don't really know. any advice?

I used to be got bullied by my so called friends often. But I never once hurt anyone, at the time, I felt I was being honest and sensitive. After getting rid of the fake friends I start to logged for a true friend. After that I met lot of people, who I thought as a friend, in the end everyone left. I start to get sick of people and thought I would never get any true friend so I give up. I start to change a lot I become more and more aggressive day by day but I don't care about it. And then I met them my current friends after become their friend I thought myself that I would be a good friend to them because they're a good people but I never once thought I would hurt them. I felt so strange when i found out that i become that fake friend. Now I hate myself. I feel like I am a toxic person and I hate it. Before this, all i want someone who understands me and be with me and someone who i understand. But now all of these feel impossible because of me.

Interesting info, but I disagree with the passive aggressive part. Some people act in a passive aggressive way without realizing it. Maybe they picked up the behavior from parents or family, or maybe it's a defense response to some past trauma. Either way I personally try to not judge someone with passive aggressive habits until I learn more about them, came in handy with my stepdad's passive aggressive sticky notes.

hey, so. what if you have some kid in your class that is not nice to you, is bossy, full of themselves, and doesn't listen to what you have to say. they act like your best friend, but you really don't like them. they keep trying to force you to do things with them after school, and you keep finding reasons to nicely say no. is that mean? like, I try VERY hard to be nice to them, but i really don't like them.

1 Samuel 18: 1-4
After David had finished talking with Saul, he met Jonathan, the king's son. There was an immediate bond of love between them, and they became the best of friends. From that day on Saul kept David with him at the palace and wouldn't let him return home. And Jonathan made a special vow to be David's friend, and he sealed the pact by giving him his robe, tunic, sword, bow, and belt.

I got in a bet with my friend to tell my crush I like him. Long story short my friend told him and he was like my last name And she was like yes and he said oh that's cool thank you, but was shocked. I told them that means he doesn't like me, but they said you don't know I got mixed feelings. Can someone back me up that, that means he doesn't like me

As someone who, for sociological reasons had to fake being the best friend of someon I hated with every single fibre of my body, I must admit, I did this kind of stuff, never did anything wrong tho, they still think that I'm their friend, but oh goodness, I'm so glad that now we're too far from eachother to meet in a bar or smth

I wish more people valued friends who are communicative, truthful, kind, and respectful. So far, it seems like we're the easiest to be treated as doormats and to have no true friends of our own. Like we're always in one-sided relationships and doing all the giving with the other person doing all the taking.

This video makes me think of this. If you are paranoid, declared everyone as evil and they all are your potential enemies that needed to be dealt with before they will harm you, what should you do? Can you justified your actions as the best defense is go on the offensive and war of your own survival?

As someone who recently discovered that I am stuck in a cycle of seeking out friends with the negative qualities portrayed in this video, having a reference guide to understand what the good qualities to look out for are is extremely helpful. Thank you

Ive had friends in the past that werent true to me. Whenever there was a chance to hang out or to just talk, they tend to brush me off. And when plans are made, they cancel them at the last minute. I feel kinda isolated.

I feel like I have to comment something similar on every video like this. I can see all these signs because I have seen them in every friend I have had since I was a child. Where are the friends who will truly like me?

Be very careful of who you share your problem with, remember that not every friend that smiles at you is your real friend. Real friends believe in you. Fake friends believe in rumors.
