I only end up doing that each and every midnight because some scenarios in my head are things that I have been through. My toxic parents tolerating my younger sister making fun of me, my aunts face shaming me then my mother berating me you frowning like that for? stop with that nasty brows at everybody and continue eating your food then my uncles and aunts smirking. Theyre telling me to control my temper when my mother is the one who scolds me in public, in front of plenty people. Theyre telling me to control my temper when my father is the one who yells at me in front of the visitors, who threatens to slap my face when my mother accuses me of disrespecting her in front of her friends when she is the one who scolds me in public places and her friends are smiling along and stuff, enabling my mother by saying that shes just disciplining me (they sometimes even tease me right after my mother scold me in public; mostly in front of them). Theyre telling me to control my temper when my father is the one who yells at me before I go to places. They tell me to control my temper when my father is the one who reprimands me in front of the family friends then everybody is asking whats happening? Why is her father reprimanding her for? I would often see everybody whispering about me, talking about me after witnessing my father reprimanding me in front of them after yelling at me in my room. Things that they did to me just randomly replays in my head. Flashbacks in my brain consists of what they have been doing to me all these years that I am living. As Im living here with this clowns as a prisoner, things that they put me through just haunts me from time to time each and every day and each and every night. Thats what exactly makes me awake at midnights frowning. I sometimes even ending up punching the wall especially when my parents scold me over simple things they make it a big thing and over defending myself from their needs of emphasizing my mistakes.

you are going through an extremely dark and painful, tough period where everything just pains you and reality makes you feel worthless. You are disappointed in your seemingly incapability to achieve things other can, and your sadness also comes from the ones closest to you not understanding the reasons for your actions and how you feel
to you, know that you are not alone. know that things will get better, and let that be your encouragement to keep going. right now everything is unclear and facing it directly can be terrifying, but you need to start somewhere, and this battle with your mind is yours to overcome. Believe that every little step you take, every day you go without crying, or without self-harming, or just being able to laugh without any negative thoughts for a few minutes is a good start. Don't get discouraged, don't be scared or think about what negative things may happen. Focus on the positive things in life, slightly puffier clouds today, the grass looks messy or the weather feels different, just focus on tiny things to distract yourself
things will get better. You will get better, i promise.
Don't give up on your control over your own emotions, your own life. you are strong enough to overcome them, take your time, i believe in you

I was very depressed for over 5 years. I began an old school remedy.
Started sleeping 8 hours, less phone time(mostly cz i have no friends, ROUTINE, managing time n money.
Stuff my parents did and theres before(minus the screen time ofc)
I also began focusing on things i could control only. Can i do something about this thing thats worrying? No? Then dont think about it.
I also began looking at aspects of my life as opportunities and experiences rather than goals. Love learning so much. It improves myself too.
I am very happy now. However i do feel lonely at times. And i feel down at times. Thats my point, its not a 180 change. You will feel down at times. Its human. The goal is to reduce the frequency.
From this list i now have crossed off all but 1 point.
Unfortunately i suck at point 1. I still make self deprecating jokes. I need to focus more on over coming this bad habbit.

This video is somewhat of a wake-up call for me: -
1st point is something I do on a daily basis while getting desperate for people to notice me
2nd point being that I get 8 hours of sleep every night, regardless of what comes next. My body just doesnt wake up before it crosses the 2 hour or 8 hour line
3rd point is something that I also do on a regular basis
4th point is something that I do very often, procrastinating until I cant anymore. But my brother is visiting me, who always keeps a check on my procrastination (and the fear of him scolding me makes me not procrastinate anymore)
5th point is, if anything, is that I underspend the most
6th point is something that I get in heavy quantities haha
7th point is a problem for me

No wonder why I'm avoiding drama. As my mental state gets screwed up, it went on auto pilot mode whenever I feel too tired and conserving my energy away from negativity.
Regardless of this vid reminder, as Alan Watts said that it is better to leave it alone for a clearer mind. Like a jar of muddy water, the water gets clearer as long as it is left alone instead of shaking it off.

I have that where you want to be nice. And i'm little bit worried about my self becous I always do that like in school or somevere else. If we do a group work and someone wants to do the same thing that i want, I always be jusy like OK. You can do that. I do something else And i don't have much friends so im quiet about everything.

Alone time? The only problem for some fellas is having hard time seeking solitude due to episodes of mental drama especially when there is autism meltdown among family members and you don't have enough money to start living on your own.
Stoicism may help but it is not enough to withstand negativity as it progresses even worse.

We should get together and keep each other from breaking promises, promises that'd help us stick to these rules. We do things for someone else we don't do for ourselves.

For the past 6 months I've only had around 5 hours sleep most of the time. I remember only a few occasions where I had 7 hours.

But motivational speakers always be saying sleep is for a lazy man. What about burning the midnight candle?
