It would not be fair to mandate that women make more money than men in order to make up for the fact that they tend to take more time off over all, in fact not only would that not be fair, it would also be a good way to ensure that women are hired less frequently than men on average.

Please dont promote the lie that women make less than men. It is illegal for two equally qualified and situated workers doing the exact same job to be paid differently based on gender. If a woman can prove this is so, it is a slam dunk victory in court. The claim of pay inequality is based on overall averaged paywhich is bad math. Men take jobs that pay better overall based on required skills, harsh, dangerous and dirty work conditions, and often are paid on performance and not just flat hourly rate. Women generally do no seek these jobs. Its not pay discrimination when the nature of the work you choose does not command better pay than jobs with worse working conditions and demands.

I personally had been struggling a lot with math this last year, and I really was afraid of failing, so this one time I was sitting with my crush between classes and I told them I was decided to get a 7 or more in the next math test, and I was gonna make sure to not fail any other math tests through-out the year. And I did it! (With the exception of one part of a certain test, but, considering I'd been failing math up till then, I'm super happy)
It may be kinda dumb, but, although ofc I did it for myself, my crush is super good at math, and I do respect his opinion a lot, so I seriously think that really helped me somehow xd.

I don't have a lot of people i am close to, but those who are close want me to open up about my life (which is full of trauma from abuse and mental health struggles. I like and want to be vulnerable, but i'm hypersensitive to body language, tonality, and microagressions, so I notice that though they want me to open up, it makes them uncomfortable hearing about the things I went through and am trying to heal from. So, long story short, it's hard to not keep my problems a secret. Sometimes it feels like a shameful thing, and I don't want to burden people. I'm working on it. Prayers are much appreciated!

I have a hard time not crashing computing today I am really sorry but sime of these seem to have made my life exponentially worse because I couldn't handle tge consequences or reception and I am down in the dumps only falling deeper and deeper because I am a dysfunctional being in xonstant mental torment who has given up all hope and is still failing qnd moving forawrd feeling progressively worse

Bottling up is definitely a bad habit of mine; growing up, saying my input was not valued is a kind way to put it. However, it's important to recognize the difference between bottling your emotions and compartmentalizing them to be dealt with later. Bottling up is bad for you, but I know for a fact that if I didn't compartmentalize, I'd never get anything done and I'd probably end up in prison, or at least unemployed. Never ignore your emotions, and never let them control you.

Even though I'd like to think I'm different and that suppressing emotions won't effect me negatively, deep down I know I'm hurting my mental health in the long run but it's so addictive to me, I've gotten so good at it I can suppress physical pain even, or at least I can pretend I don't feel as much pain.
I also have anger issues, but if I ask my friends they say the opposite, I can't just stop suppressing emotions all of a sudden, I'm pretty stuck here.

The gender pay gap is so easily debunked it's frustrating to see you tout it as fact.
Women work less dangerous jobs, fewer hours, and take more time off.
The gap is calculated by taking all female earnings, and all male earnings, and then dividing them by the number of each in our populous.
It doesn't take into consideration what jobs worked or how many hours put into those jobs.

This may sound an odd one, but I realise the reason I don't often vent to a friend is empathetic guilt in other words if you see feelings as energy it can feel wrong to talk at times when a subject has no real answer (Think awareness of the human condition as one) as talking at that point is putting the negative energy on them also to sweat out, something empathetic introverts seem to be wired to do.

It's not understood in Australia, I have to bottle as I can't see a psychologist. For whatever reason, a lot of places won't accept someone who has Autism. Any other condition is fine but Autos isn't, due to lack of money I can't see a private psychologist so I have been seeing no one since December last year

im an 11 yr in a family of 2 parents and 3 siblings and I feel as if I do not get loved enough.
compared to how much my parents care for my other siblings I feel. unimportant and I don't know how to fix it. i wanna ask if I can get therapy but then they will think of me lower.

For the second point you need to be really careful whom you share your stuff with. As an example only one friend understands what depression is about, my other friends and family members have no idea what it is, and how important it is.

My girlfriend who is a sociopath goes to Rape and Abuse Crisis Centers and says that I am an abuser. Then they give her money, no questions asked. They don't even investigate me. They just Believe All Women. She has funded herself at least 3 vacations using this tactic.

thank you for this helped. The only problem that i personally face is finding someone to tell these things despite having many friends, i feel i can't tell them how i truly feel and the problems i face. Are there any online counselors that Psych2go have to offer?

I would never admit to any of these. The way / things you share are how people perceive you in life. How Ive been raised is sharing mental issues makes you weak. Sharing finances leads to chaos. And sharing goals gives people something to use against you.

The video is interesting but it does not consider that speakin' up can generate derision, mookery, stigmatizin', gossipin' ans other problems. In some family contexts, reportin' abuses can cause even additional violence and abuses unfortunately.
