How do you do this? This is coming from 6, 4 happy go lucky loner 20 year old guy with the same mentally and maturity of a some one 1800's era and dresses like 1920's. Plus a die-hard fanatic to hobby and things i love. Also it's hard do to be introvert and extrovert in one with autism which makes social cues and anxiety a pain. Sorry i started to rant.
Just heard me out. Imagine being one person wear no matter what generation you talk to. No one understands you to a full extent. You feel like you're against the whole world. your guard is always up. Mentally and physically. Being constant fight to defend from bullys. (Physically and mentally) And random multiple near death experience. But other than that. you have goals the people have and you achieved before you're 20 Year old. But at the cost of your sanity, health, having no true support. You are on your own. Would say yes or no. Can you answer me this one. How do you find that will trust me and not back stabbed me.

This video hits way too close to home tbh. There was a time in my life where I didn't think that a lack of intimacy would affect emotions negatively. I was very wrong. There have been times where I wished that I could give up my need for romance and intimacy and just live alone.
As a teenager I was somewhat scared of even interacting with girls in my peer group. I subconsciously started to mute my emotions around my female classmates in order to protect myself from catching feelings and potentially getting shot down. I'm almost 24 and I still think the same way. The good thing is is that I've been aware of that recently and have started to open up. I think this video will be a good reminder of why opening up is worth it.

This may be true for neurotypical people, but for those of us who are not, it may not be true. Exercise can help all this. Don't put yourself at risk just because some doctor says it's true. If you worry about this still, make yourself happy, you know what I mean. Myself, I'm menopausal, so all of this is happening to me, lol!
Stay safe!

Oh yeah, I was hella depressed, hella stressed for a while and had a harder time thinking, but once I got with someone after a year and a half dry spell, I felt better than I had in several months. This makes way too much sense.

20 years old here and I m still a virgin. I thought this video was interesting to watch and yes I somewhat relate to these symptoms. But for now I d like to focus on my first relationship.

I'm Aro/Ace, I don't feel the need to have a partner, and rarely do I experience these negative symptoms. Although, I do admit there is a bit of maintenance needed on occasion.

Heyy, I've noticed a minor error (I think) at 2: 17. The subtitles say we'll while I believe it should be will. Please excuse me in case it was actually correct from the start.

Well, this sucks. I do experience these symptoms pretty regularly.
But as a 36 year old male who has no luck with women, I'm not going to be finding any relief in this.

I have not been really thinking about it as I do now, and. yeah I would want it, but I'm also autist, and it's hard for me in many other social situations anyways.
reply

Yeah, but how do you fix a problem that takes two to tango if you cannot find someone to be in a relationship with, but won't settle for someone you are not in to.
reply
