That was my dad.
Unfortunately, some of us who grew up with toxic malignant narcissists, may develop some narcissistic personality traits ourselves, as a way of protecting ourselves from getting hurt.
Or we develop something called avoidant attachment disorder, which is another way of protecting ourselves.
I actially follow a self diagnosed narcissist on YT.
He's been in therapy seven years and he's doing much better, since he wanted his kids to have a good dad.
I had no idea that some narcissists could be helped by therapy, because so many are resistant to it.
But he's shown it's possible. So maybe some folks can change I get the feeling a lot of narcissism is related to childhood neglect and abuse. So as they grow up, they need constsnt attention and validation.

I don’t like narcissists I was finally free from one I found out throughout the 2 years I loved them, I broke free, after the psychological abuse I went through now after I got my health back, relationships are traumatizing, I honestly don’t need relationships in my life. Then I have another one wanting to make things official, when I didn’t ask for a relationship.
A good friend of mine.
Now I feel sick and in danger again.

This video was just what I needed to see from the webs that I didn’t see, but do now.

A reminder to folks without NPD. We are not all manipulative or abusers, using narcissist or narc in replacement of abuser and other things is fueling into the stigma that we're all terrible, when in reality we aren't
And a reminder to the folks with NPD. I promise not all of the world is against us, you'll find communities that will accept you with open arms no matter what you have going on in that head of yours, ignore the stigma and abelism and focus on what recovery looks like for you, you've got this: )

Nice video, I'm still struggling with the end of my 7-year relationship. My significant other, who I considered to be the love of my life, left me a month ago, and I can't seem to shake the constant thoughts of him. Despite my efforts to bring him back into my life, nothing has worked, and I feel frustrated and hopeless. I've tried to move on, but my heart still longs for him, and I don't see myself with anyone else. I apologize for sharing this here, but I just can't seem to stop missing him.

The worst part about it all is when you've experienced a narcissist once, u keep getting attracted to the same type of man again n again. So far, I've dated 2 typically narcissistic men who had each and every quality explained above. I would just let anyone who's struggling out there, leave. I know they make it very difficult to do so with their love bombing and promises, but u need to spot the manipulation and choose yourself. It may be not easy, but it will be good for your mental health.

Dated a narcissist for less than a year, we broke up a total of 3 times during this time.
I finally managed to leave permanently back in September. but it's devastating. I'm still stuck mentally to him.
Started again therapy recently. it's really hard but I'll get better.
I don't want to go back to that relationship with that person anymore.
I hope I can fight my demons and heal.

i kept seeing people talk about this book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, but when i tried to find it, it was nearly impossible. took me days to track it down, but once i read it, i got why. the stuff in here isn’t just theoryit actually works. made a few small changes, and opportunities started showing up like clockwork. if you can get your hands on it, don’t hesitate.

i thought i had read every manifestation book out there, but Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane hits different. it’s damn near impossible to find, but after reading it, i see why. it doesn’t just talk about manifesting, it explains how to shift energy in a way that actually works. took me forever to track it down, but it was worth every second

Narcissists will say and do anything to get what they want. It’s all manipulation. They just want to take from you and they don’t care about your feelings or needs. It’s all about them. They don’t even see you. They see your qualities and possessions as things that are separate from you. Which they can use to support their false image.

i don’t know why this book is so hard to find, but after finally getting Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, i get why they don’t want this out there. it breaks down exactly why most people stay stuck, and once you see it, you can’t unsee it. since reading it, my whole life has shifted. the secrets inside are worth the effort.

When visiting an old friend I asked questions. When confronted on untruthful things he said well, you made me lie to you, you gave me no choice! I knew I’d lost my friend. He wasn’t honest and bold anymore.
He was lying to a friend for no reason. Untrustworthy.
Easier to walk away when it’s just an old friend but still hurts

I was dating a narcissist for only a few months and could relate to this video. I had a lucky escape and was grateful to my friends and therapist for opening my eyes up to what was going on. It could have been a lot worse so I'm glad I opened up about it and talked to people early when I started noticing something wasn't right

I've encountered every narcissist whether it's family, friends or society I finally had the guts to walk away from them without drama or saying anything because I wanted to break away from chains they had on me and just embraced being myself organically and authentically without narcissistic comments etc

Narcissists are a special kind of evil, whether they can help their behavior or not. I’ve never been more miserable than when dating a narcissist. I’m proud of myself for getting out of that toxic relationship. I hope my narcissistic ex gets help. Good luck to whatever victims of his come after me.

As someone who’s been through narcissistic abuse, as someone who been diagnosed with BPD (doing much better after 5yrs of therapy, this is a very irresponsible take on NPD. Majority of humans deal with narcissistic tendencies period. Preaching empathy but then the tone being the exact opposite.

I sometimes wonder if my parents are narcissistic because they always say they know me better than I do and I have wanted to move out of the house but they just keep telling me oh you wouldn’t do that and I feel like I am being controlled it’s so annoying
