(2)We will also develop star lifting around the same time, which will provide almost infinite metals and other elements, as well as stabilizing the sun for trillions of years at its current brightness. We will also probably fix Saturns rings when they look ragged; )
(3)Within 2000 years we will be a type 1 civilization, so well have total control over ALL aspects of the earth, so no supervolcanoes or ice ages; )
(4)In the unlikely event that plate tectonics might stop we will ensure it keeps going (see (3)

(5)We may decide to keep the arrangement of continents ideal for the most biodiversity, so Earth may be redesigned to look more like the Cretaceous earth: lots of warm, shallow seas, dispersed continents, and seasonal; polar ice caps
(6) Long before 1 billion years has passed most humans will live in huge ONeil cylinders and Bishop rings in custom biomes, while earth and terraformed Mars and venus are tourist trap nature preserves
(7) Yes, we will have become many species: adapted to various colony worlds in and out of the solar system, cyborgs, uploaded into android bodies, or living uploaded into digital paradises (8)Sometime before 1 billion years passes we will be all over the galaxy, so 1 catastrophe is unlikely to wipe us out, plus we will know where all the possible supernovas and gamma ray bursters will be near our galactic orbit, and they will be neutralized in various ways.
(9)What we will need to do however, is come to terms with our AI children, and also any actual aliens we will meet!

Homo Sapiens will become extinct like Neanderthal. Replaced by another species of Homo. The colonization of other planets is a pipe dream. Humans can't control the climate on this planet. Do you really think they can control the climate on another plane? I give Homo Sapiens about another 10, 000 years before a new species arrives. If nature is just, they will be more intelligent, stronger, and end Homo Sapien quickly.

I have a theory that we are living in a loop because in the last eternity the universe has already ended and i believe that when the universe ends altogether the universe will most likely restart and everything that had happened and will happen again.
So if they invent something like flying cars remember that they were already invented.

in a billion years we will be able to recreate planet earth (or dyson sphere. or. have a global shield to protect us from any danger. also. we will have the ability to move the planet to other locations in the universe. in the end. a billion years is a long time away. human civilization and technology will increase exponentially.

This was oddly calming. There is so little chance humans will survive that one doesn't feel so badly about human induced climate change. I actually feel better after watching this. Fascinating. We won't survive either way and it's not our fault. That's it, I'm buying an SUV.

If you look at what we all came up with the past 200 years, it would be nice to see what we will have come up with in the next 1 million years.
If all goes well we will have ways to counter most if not all negative effects and just keep on living
