What is the LOUDEST Sound Ever Heard? As someone with sensitive hearing, I just hear ow ow ow. Somewhere between 90 and 100 decibels makes pain for me. But I also have a high pain tolerance so my audio pain threshold may be lower but I just dont notice.

The proper speak made me want to kill the presenter. The repeated use of decibel made me want to kill my children. Have you ever considered throwing in the occasional soft R or T to spice things up a bit?

I think ground zero of a nuclear detention should be the loudest sound, the sound waves will literally blow your body apart before being vaporized by the explosion

How is 90 decibels 4X louder than a vacuum cleaner at 70 decibels?
Shouldn-t it be 100 times, based on how you explained the scale? (Which is wrong)

reply

volcano has like 200 db.
but the merger (collision) of 2 black holes 30x the mass of the sun is about 2. 31x10 raised to the 57th power

I turned my volume down to the lowest setting before listening. Didn't know what to expect. Thankfully they respected our ears!

Wait. So in the late 1800-s when this eruption happened, there was a -pressure gauge- in existence that measured decibels? Hmm-.
