even today. invading usa is no easy feat. even if you destroyed the us military you still have militarized police, national guard, intelligence agents, many weapons factories for the population to get guns. civilians armed and many many gangs with small arms. and im willing to bet if it was that bad. the feds would let open all the prisons and give everyone weapons lol any invading army would be screwed. lol and thats alot of logistics they would have to have before hand lol. not to mention if some dont speak english and most wont understand the streets where they are fighting. last but not least. american urban streets are not built for tanks to be riding on them. the pavement will crack making it hard for lighter units to even manuever in urban areas. have fun in america lol

the USA would not feel -weak- we would be pretty mad, also we are very vengeful. soo, an attempted attack would cause a full scale/force attack against their attacking forces and their homeland at the same time. but we also have very big ICBM that could be launched without ever even leaving the homeland. not to mention expecting us not to notice a squadron coming across the ocean for 30 days? LOL yea right. this whole plan would have been shut down right from the get go.

I don't think people in other countries realize just how many guns we have here. I live in a rural part of the US where we go out and shoot or hunt every other day. It's not uncommon for people up here to have between 5 and 20 guns of all sizes.

Invading the US would be insane. Even if you somehow overcame the most capable military - on earth, many of its citizens are armed to the tune of 7 firearms for every person.
