Honestly the only reason Chile maintains uncontested the lenght it has already is because of the shielding of The Andes, the sea and the Antarctica on the south. Also the reason it gave what is practically half of Argentina today away at the first threat. A logistic nightmare try to connect the Patagonia from one side of the Andes to the other.

Interesting. It's a great idea all the pacific ocean coast Will be benefit of it. Not needed to fight to anyone, agreements with all the countries would be signed in order yo keep the peace and prosperity. It's clear all the pacific ocean si very rich, I can see rigth now, and can stand on it's own.

As a small correction. The pacific war was not started by Chile, rather declared by Bolivia against Chile and then Chile declared to Peru because they refused neutrality. And the war wasn't for coastal territory, it was for saltpetre/nitre/saltpeter which was a major resource at the time.

-Bolivia, as a result of being landlocked, is quite salty. -
I was going to make a joke about Bolivia not having access to the sea would probably make them not salty at all, then I remembered they have the world's largest salt flats. So they'll be salty with or without sea access.

If chile didn't stop from taking the america's pacific coastline, and instead taking all of the world's Pacific coastline, then chile will be waaaaaaaaaaaay longer than today or from RLL

Summary
1) L. Chile capitalizes off pacific coast
2) USA dominates and repeats what happened to Mexico (might even take more land)
3) L. Chile becomes shorter L. Chile.

As a Chilean who lives in the city of Antofagasta (region where we took legally after the war with bolivia and Peru) I can confirm that, indeed, Bolivians are salty.

That's it! I say have the U. S. start a pre-emptive strike to Chile and then turn them into a land locked nation by taking heir beaches.
