Every Country England Has Invaded: Visualized This is really misleading - first of all where the video starts - why not start at the Saxon invasion of England or the Norman invasion of England and later Ireland in 1184 which btw is why so much of the early conflict with France emerges from - The English of the Plantagenet and angvine we really another version of the French speaking the language in court and mostly born in France. Look at all the global conflicts where occupation was against other colonial empires that had started conflicts - crimea war (allied with France and Turkey) napolionic wars, first and Second World War, the war I terror and the support of NATO in Bosnia. In fact you could go back further and not say this is about the English but more about the Vikings - after all they were the origins of the Normans! The last English king was Harold who was killed in 1066

This is totally exaggerated for effect. One example: -
The Mexico case: Putting the Union Jack in the middle of Mexico (as if an invasion happened) is absurd. The real story is that the British and Spanish joined the French in their expedition to Mexico. They barely reached the coast of Mexico and stayed in their ships. When the British and Spanish realised that the intention of the French was to invade and occupy Mexico they ran back to their ships and went back home. They had both been kicked out of the USA and Mexico, respectively, and they did not want to be humiliated again. Invasion is precisely what the British did not want. Not a single shot was fired between the British and Mexico. -
This is like saying that Mexico invaded the USA because Pancho Villa went into the USA as a bandit.

The whole of England invaded? No. The vast majority did not invade anywhere and were living in poverty, not even allowed to vote. Also, it was the British Empire, not the English Empire. All European royals are related and every 'English' Monarch is descended from William the Conquerer, Norman, Alfred the Great, Anglo Saxon and King Coel, Irish 'Celt'. The 'English' royals are also direct descendants of the Scottish Stuarts and it was Scottish King James, King of Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland that the Scottish and English planters were planted in Ireland. The royals are also direct descendants of the Irish High King, Brian Boru and the Tudor royals such as Elizabeth I and Henry VIII were Welsh but not not ancestors of the current royals.

Canada was granted the right to self-government in 1867, and was no longer just a colony, but did not gain full legal autonomy until 1931 due to the Statute of Westminster. It took five decades after the Statute of Westminster for Canada to make its final step toward full sovereignty. In 1982, it adopted its own constitution and became a completely independent country. Although it-s still part of the British Commonwealth-a constitutional monarchy that accepts the British monarch as its own. Charles III is the King of Canada. However, his role is essentially ceremonial, and he does not interfere in Canadian self-governance.

One half of my family were from an invaded country (Ireland) and the half were English, so I grew up learning the glories of British supremacy and what it's like being an opressed people who were desparate for the British to leave. In my opinion, the secret of British control was the ability to use psychology on both the invaders and the invaded. It's been written that the British ruling the empire were more racist than their countrymen back home. Also, a sense of inferiority was inculcated into the conquered poulation.

The only reason they managed to do that was because the rest of the world was very hospitable and nice and welcoming, unlike the invaders. They all welcomed them with open arm and in return they got stabbed in the back. Now the rest of the world is f-ucked up just like the UK, that-s why it-s very hard or almost impossible.

hmmm interesting very interesting but to be fair, many of these cases were not invasions but part of a joint allied response to aggression. obv. all the 1st and 2nd world war maneuvers. BTW what's up with the audio, big guy? Sounds like you're speaking through a blanket into a boombox mic. tech help is available lol

Great video and not sure how you define -invaded - as many countries including Thailand, Laos, Japan, Vietnam, and more have never been invaded by the UK. It appears that your list is generated from either BARD of CHAT GBT. if you look at the list in detail you will note the information is frankly just wrong.

I'm from Kensington and Chelsea in London originally
My family are not British
I'm grateful for my British education.
When I was a kid on the wall a map.
I couldn't believe such a small island could dominate.
I admired these people then
I admire them now.

Thats why the English was the most hated people on earth and the most rejected.
In the end They probably lost more lives in everything they have done compared to UK's population of today.
Someday ya'll realized, everytime/everywhere you move in, the Brits will follow.

Everyone seems to slate the British empire now but they were the first to stop slavery and actually increased massively the standard of living for many nations.

England is not even a country, yet has spent centuries destroying other countries to over take them. It's clear they are the enemy to the people of the world.

You either colonise or be colonised. If not the British you would have ended up with Spain, Turkey or France. Thank your lucky stars. Could have been worse -

The pride in your voice was sickening but it also proves my belief that the biggest mistake of Germans was loosing their war.

The map is incorrect. England (or Britain) did not invade Papua New Guinea or The Solomons, those were Australian colonies.
