The Insane Logistics of Transporting the Biggest Object in History Why do people need corporate sponsors? Couldnt you have achieved the same content without them, and what do you gain by having them? Because you accept them as a sponser is that to say that they have any control over your content in order to reap whatever benefits they have to offer? Im just curious. First they create this platform allowing for a large place by which they can control the incoming uploads of a planets worth of content relating to every category imaginable, and then they introduce monetisation to make their interference within our lives more digestible, then came the constant ads shoved in our faces, not because ads make money, but because THEY make money when people get sick of seeing ads and buy into their premium ad-free alternatives.

DID YOU KNOW, that the Statue of Libertas was not even a gift to the United States, but intended as a gift to Egypt, but they didn't want that garbage, because it didn't fit in with their existing pagan god's, so they decided to give it to us instead. The Statue of -Liberty- was never a symbol of migrant -freedom-, but rather man's desire to free himself from the slavery of God's love, because His Word says that those that hate God, love death.

When i drove the Norwegian coast last summer an oil platform was in the fjord for maintenance and trust me when i say that they are monstrous behemoths i have never seen something man-made being that big, it was like a whole city on the ocean. i was more impressed by that than the eiffel tower and the statue of liberty. it was truly an insane sight.

I-m Norwegian and I wonder, where the heck is Vats? The place pointed to in the video is a small mountain resort called Vats Fjellstue, the platform was built in Vatne, north east of Stavanger. Way further south, and actually at the coast.

If the 80km in 84s is correct, then that means that the gas is traveling at over mach 3-.
Note: i didn't acount for depth so it could not be that fast but just using the general speed formula it give a speed of over mach 3

4: 54 those things are just like standing on top of a 15 story building and when they had it 100 meters up that-s like 30 story building witch I know what looks like because my grandpa lives on the 30th floor of a building

SI-m not sure where you got that stat for about the weight of a train car but- an intermodal freight container maxes out at about 44000lbs or about 22 tons so its more like 10 train cars

The Troll A concrete platform is the tallest installation ever moved by humans on the earth's surface, not the heaviest. The heaviest platform ever moved by humans is Gullfaks C.

Imagine after we've nuked ourselves extinct and life evolves again, and some future Vikings come across this in the sea. Imagine their minds being completely blown.

My dad used to work on one of those for 25 years. fun to watch this video. i have allways been interested in my dad job. but im happy he is done working there now.

Not mad just sort of irritating, why would you give measurements in metrics, but give weight measurements in tons/ imperial system? One or the other brother
reply

At least add in imperial captions at the bottom. It's insanely easy to do conversions yes, but many people simply don't imagine the world in metric.
reply

I would be so nervous if I was in charge of the repair and maintenance of that platform. Talk about putting all your oil in one Troll.
reply

why is it 80km off the coast, then 200km off the coast? has it moved since it was initially made, or was this just an oversight?
reply

Uhm, this isn't about Gojira? That is the heaviest matter in the universe, originated in France, and played Bonnaroo, sooo.

Fun fact: Our king said the area -Troll- was named after his wife, our queen because she is a troll on live television -
reply

The fact that you didn-t use any photos or videos of the actual thing in transit pisses me off that I watched this whole video

3: 33 I would love to see that water rising from the bottom up in the real world. Who made the graphics in your video?

5: 52 They pump the oil and gas at over three times the speed of sound? Maybe they mean 80km in 84 minutes; )
reply

When you say -The EPCOT center- I'm assuming you mean Spaceship Earth? EPCOT Center is the entire park.
