From a Cambodian perspective this vid kinda bias toward Thailand, the part that you said Khmer rouge have invade Vietnam, so now Hun Sen would do it again, so you comparing Hun Sen to Khmer Rouge i know he is an ex Khmer rough but you can't deny the fact that he is a smart person, that's like comparing a mental person walking around eating glass bleeding all over with a smart business man, they don't think the same way, the fact that he been rules for more than 40 years is evidence,
I saw many Thai comments that he want his son to be hero, but how do you know you would come out on top if go to war with Thailand, no air force, no Navy, 3 time less ground troop, less money less everything, how How can he know his son would win Just shoot one time and play victim How is that a hero
What about Khmer economy that rely on products from Thailand l and tourists that mostly come through Thailand to Cambodia What about the millions Khmer workers at Thailand that now have to return How does he plan to solve that, because if he want to start this war he would know full well that these crisis that would occur. I don't listen to fake news but it doesn't make any sense for HS to start this war. i think this war is a shock to him, it was silly of him to play politic with Thailand leaking the phone call and stuff let them resolve their own problem why get involve, but i don't think he started this war. we have everything to lose by starting this war, there is no winning to gain, cause the risk is too high, what if Thailand capture all three temple ta muen, ta krabei and Pres Vihea would that not make his son look really bad
Thailand on the other hand when Paetongtarn, increase the budget for military, hundred of Thai senator speak against it, one day later a Cambodian soldier got kill at the border, tension Thai and Khmer increase dramatically, what a coincidence right later on we see the government power kept decreasing then the military take over, then what happen next Warrr, Cambodian we been through a lot of war, we are still war fatigue, i just hope we go back to normal man,

I really hate Cambodia. They killed innocent Thai people! And now they’re asking for peace without any apology. Our relationship will never be the same, even though Cambodia is the one who wants war with Thailand the most! They always start attacking Thailand whenever they need to boost their nationalism. And even though they lose every war, they still spread the narrative that they won. LOL. But this time is different, Cambodia deliberately targeted civilians, so Thailand escalated by using F-16s and Gripens to strike their military bases.
And do you know how dirty Cambodia is They used ambulances as vehicles to transport weapons and soldiers. They used their own people as human shields. They used temples, ancient ruins, and even schools (yes, SCHOOLS) to hide weapons and set up military bases.
Fortunately, Thailand deployed F-16s to destroy Cambodia’s weapons stockpiles, which ended the war faster and prevented more civilian deaths. Cambodia deserves sanctions. Not only do they kill their own people, but their hatred and thirst for war also bring suffering to their neighbors like Thailand and Vietnam.
As a Thai, I will never forgive Cambodia. This feeling will never fade. The images of innocent people being killed still haunt me. And yes, Cambodia shamelessly claims that Thailand staged the killings of our own people even though there is undeniable evidence: more than 40 fresh BM-21 rocket warheads were found at the scene, along with CCTV footage.
Cambodia will eventually face another civil war from trying to drag the U. S. into their mess. They will fall into chaos once again, and I hope they never mess with Thailand again no matter how desperate they become.

Thailand has always said it wants peace, but Thai soldiers have committed war crimes such as the use of cluster booms, poison gas, Thai soldier arrests Cambodian soldiers after ceasefire, Thai soldiers used barbed wire to surround the home of Cambodian people, the bombing of the Preah Vihear temple which is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and airstrikes that have threatened civilian areas, raising serious humanitarian concerns.
If Thailand believes that these are their territory and they are standing on peace, why did they reject Cambodia's request to go to the ICJ and instead choosing war Why is Thailand afraid of procedure of the ICJ The judicial system is the best option. Thailand has unilaterally drawn a map to invade Cambodia's territorial integrity.

Amazingly accurate! This is the first time I've heard such an accurate story from a Westerner. I would say it's 90-95% accurate. And yes, the problem started with the d. French! The border of Thailand was drawn even before Cambodia existed.
Many Thai citizens who live near the border have been treated unfairly and had their lives threatened by the Khmer Rouge army. Part of the fault also lies with our own government and army in the past as well, they didn't pay enough attention, or I should say they tried to hide this problem from most Thais.
So, to correct things to how they are supposed to be, Thailand has to get all the land back up to Siem Reap (Siem Rat) province, which is about 50 square kilometers. This won't end easily.

Thailand blames Cambodia to hide its own instability. Thaksin Shinawatra worked closely with Hun Sen to keep peace, but his popularity threatened the elites, so he was forced out. His daughter, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, faced the same fate after a leaked call with Hun Sen in 2025.
Thailand betrayed Cambodia first with the scam issue. The leaked call was a double-edged sword; meant to shame Cambodia, but it also exposed the truth about Thailand’s fragile system. Thaksin’s genuine love for his people and his ability to keep peace were seen as a threat by those above him, so they stripped away his power to remind everyone who is really in control.

i dont know why many people still support thailand. in the video, both sides clearly state that ICJ should rule who the land belongs. we cambodia would accept any decision as we want peace. thailand on the other hand reject the decision when its against them and started to bully cambodia with heavy weapons.
think about it. who would you support the one who accept international law or the one who wants war to decide and bully then the answer is simple.
we all should just accept ICJ international ruling then move on to join hand building stronger economy. yet thailand want a war and weaken both countries economy.

This video section of 4: 33 showing the purple map of Siam is inaccurate! Cambodia was autonomous and had its monarch but politically influenced by Siam as previous centuries some Khmer kings were politically influenced by Annam. King Norodom like his father King Ang Duong were weary of Siam which led King Norodom to seek Cambodia as France's protectorate by 1863.
Siam did annexed Cambodia's provinces of Sisophon, Oddar Meanchey, Battambang, and Siem Reap (Angkor) from 1794 up until 1907 when the French after the Treaty of Siam-Franco had Siam returned those annexed northwestern provinces back to Cambodia.

Cambodia has just achieved peace after 30 to 40 years of war. It has built a country so much that it is now invading and seizing territory from Thailand. Thailand often says that Cambodia invaded Thailand. What is the point Thailand does not recognize the international map, but uses the map it drew itself. Cambodia often asks Thailand to seek justice at the international court, but Thailand does not go and despises Cambodia and the United Nations. Cambodia wants lasting peace, why not Please foreigners do something, be conscientious, be virtuous, and be humane.

Cambodia had just broken free from being a colony under France for only about 20 years, and then they had to face a civil war, the Black Khmers versus the Red Khmers fighting each other.
In those days, if Thailand hadn’t opened its arms out of goodwill as a neighbor, by now that country would have fallen into poverty, and they wouldn’t even have a culture to call their own.
But it’s really sad for their people, being born and growing up only to see fake pride, copycat call-center gangs, and scammers.

On closer inspection, the maritime demarcation line claimed by Cambodia cuts directly through Koh Kood, an island in Thailand, which even Cambodia itself recognizes as Thai territory. Drawing a demarcation line through territory or territories clearly recognized as belonging to another country has no real precedent in international practice. Cambodia wants to pick a fight with Thailand and create a war, and Cambodian citizens have been provoking the Thai military all along.

Don’t miss the point that Thailand want to negotiate bilaterally because it is a border between TWO country, as you can see last time French did not do it well and when you look at the geography map you can clearly see which area is higher or lower ground but Cambodia still didn’t want to admit it. In the other hand Cambodia lunch an attack first because of Thai government crack down on call center scam and entertainment complex policy that will rendered Cambodia income.

If you watch this video, consider the following:
-Why has Thailand used a unilateral map and refused to engage with the ICJ
-Why has Thailand rejected international observers to monitor the ceasefire agreement
-Why has Thailand refused to allow international experts to verify the landmines it has accused Cambodia of planting
-If Thailand is truly the good nation it claims to be, why does it fear international laws

These two countries are some of the most beautiful places with some of the kindest and most welcoming people in the world. Please solve your problems without help from the United States or China, the world can not afford to have your conflict become proxy that will last for a decade or more and hurt your people and tourism. This is the backbone of Southeast Asia. The world needs you to work this out and stay great.

Cambodian leaders offered Trump a reward for ordering a ceasefire in Thailand after Cambodia's first defeat. The Ream military base has been used to push China and Cambodia into amassing vast amounts of weapons, readying for a second clash with Thailand. With hundreds of thousands of soldiers, protesters, drones flying, and tens of thousands of landmines deployed, Thailand is likely to be devastated by Trump.

Wake up, Cambodians! You are the victims of Hun Sens dictatorship. Hun Sens daughter controls the media. The whole family is running the country and telling lies to Cambodian people. He will continue violating peace and humanity unless you stand up and fight for your own country. Don’t you realize that there is no opposition in Cambodia They all either got killed or fled to other countries.

So the Thai and Cambodian Government started a conflict that they fully intent to end shortly after. Willing to let their soldiers and civilians die for absolutely no benefit to the populace, no benefit to the countries, no terrorial gain or loss. Just so that they can keep their power and defeat their political opponents.

The Khmer yearn for their lost land and attempted to quietly invade Thailand. They missed the Khmer Empire and the ancient temples that are now in Thailand. Some people think this is correct. I wonder if the Roman Empire wanted the land back because it had mosaics. Will any country give it back without asking

Thailand wants to use modern tech to map their boarders and end this conflict, while cambodia wants to use outsated and conflicting ancient maps to claim territory that wasn't supposed to be theirs. I think Thailand should keep bombing cambodia until they stop avoiding technology and modernize their maps.

As a Thai, I want Thailand to start a war so that it will end, but the military and politicians like peace and politeness towards Cambodia. It is very funny that the Thai government is violent towards Thai protesters with rubber guns and tear gas, but with Cambodia they just set down barbed wire.

Thailand has repeatedly agreed to have the dispute heard by the ICJ, but each time has refused to comply with its decisions. I see no reason why people should sympathize with a country that is trying to satisfy its historical grievances against France at the expense of a former French colony.
