It sounds like as long as your descendants know the rules of the game, there is no chance involved. Therefore, you may advise them on the strategies they should use to gain either true love, or massive wealth, every 23 years. Fate presents not only peril, but opportunity, after all.
However, if I were fate, I would change the game every time somebody wins, so the next person wouldn't be guaranteed to win. Fate is fickle, after all.
In either case, just make sure that the Chosen One brings a video camera with them every 23 years.

I already suspected that I shouldn't allow my opponent to make the first move, but the rest was beyond me.
In regards to the treasures I have to ask if Fate will actually still want to play the game again once their trick was revealed?
Because if not I would take 2 to break the curse, if they want to play the same game next time I would take Wealth and then prepare my descendants for the game. Effectively turning the curse into a blessing.

Step 2. Wait for as many days as fate has cards.
Step 3. There are now no more cards in fate's hand because they all asked to leave the previous night after they all figured out they all have green eyes.
Step 4. Take the 2, 6 and 10 cards if they haven't left the island.
Step 5. Get riches, find true love and break the curse all at the same time.

But wait. Of i can grab riches or love. Someone else can break the curse all i have to do is tell them solution. And the curse that visits every 23 years can be a reward that comes every 23 years with promises of love and riches, and you can cancel your fate membership any time by winning the 2, but who knows maybe your offspring would like the fate to give them riches when there turn comes up so who am i to deprive them of such choice

Is funny how my brain just went for the highest score and forgot about the rewards. I picked first 23 (Faith gets 1, then 9 (Faith gets 3) then 21 (Faith gets 7) then 14 (Faith gets 2) then 22 (Faith gets 11) then 18 (Faith gets 6) then 15 (Faith gets 5) then 20 (Faith gets 10) and finally 16 (Faith gets 4 and 8 and the remaining 19, 17, 13 and 12. In total I have 158 and Faith has 118. Winner winner chicken dinner!

Here's the plan.
I would actually choose not to break the curse. However I need to win this and managed to beat the fate and get out alive.
Then, spread the rules and strategies to the family, including the special cards, and let the family members practise with each other in order to increas the odds of taking the bless and ensure they can end the curse if they want to.

Take the money so your family guaranteed wealth for eternity then tell the descendants how to break the curse (don't tell them that they can get a lover) and wish the next chosen family member break the curse.
If they didn't, then wish for the next one. If they also didn't, then wish for the next next one.
Then the family is stuck in a new loop.

It s technically impossible to beat the fates because if you think of ending its cycle, then it is already written in your fate and therefore there is no error. Yet if you use reverse psychology and don t try to temper with it, it has already been stated with no change made. So technically, whatever you try to do, you can t escape fate.

An interesting side note I didn't see mentioned, if you solve the puzzle you don't actually benefit from breaking the curse anymore as you can sinply go back and tell your descendents what to do. In fact this curse eould then become essentially a farmable source of wealth and true love as there'd be no risk in doing it anymore.

Why are you playing a game with a serial killer? Did you not just watch the video footage of your father's murder? There's no card you can select that gives you justice for your father. You'll have to seek that outside of the cards. Hopefully you used your 23 years wisely and brought something more powerful than a video camera.

So since I am young, chances are if I win and get out, I can go again in 23 years and win again unless the rules have been changed. And I already have money enough too
So, as the extra reward, I take the true love, somewhat guaranteeing offspring in case something goes wrong in the next 23 years and wonder what fate might plan

Great puzzle but you don't need to vilify the Fate by making her to cheat. Just let her explain the rules in the beginning.
But I guess the game would have been solved years ago that way.
Maybe add another rule that the player should not start with a number? Perhaps the number that his father picked as a start.
