I remember when I was researching about the Concorde I thought it traveled twice the speed of light (not sound) so I was like whoa that's fast. When I got on a plane I thought it would be even faster than a Concorde because of how advanced technology is but it was so slow. Anyway, thanks for the video TED-Ed

There are 4 forces that act on a plane: thrust, drag, lift, and weight. Planes slow down because of drag. Once power is reduced, drag is greater than thrust and causes the plane to slow down.
