Dig into the incredible fighting, feeding, and flying capabilities of hummingbirds. In just a matter of seconds, hummingbirds can perform astonishing aerial acrobatics, eat lunch in midair, pollinate a flower, even escape threats while upside-down. And they can do this all while achieving sustained hovering flight an aerial feat no other bird can perform. How do they do it? Kristiina J. That wasn't just any date! It was their 2 day anniversary. To an insect, they were basically celebrating being together 50 years. She was his everything. His soul mate. And she was taken from him too soon. RIP insects wife. We will remember you fondly. She was a lover of fine wines and long flights along the tree.

the art style in this video is very simple yet has a strong meaning to every character, the personality. And this actually helps in understanding the concept better.
Love the art style
hoping to see it in the future videos

Being a hummingbird can be a dreadful existence. As neat as having such extreme agility, they're constantly hours before starving to death, and only having a plentiful supply of specific flowers can prevent such a fate.

0: 40 More like 70 times per second and their hearts beat 1260 per minute. They recognize you as their provider and hover above your head telling you when you should change the sugar nectar. Amazing!

As always love the animation, but the final line on this video about them being the messenger of the Aztec god of war, and that strength can come in small sizes. Top notch writing right there.

Hummingbirds' metabolic rate is so fast, because of having to flap their wings so much, that they are eight hours away from starving to death at any given moment (when they are awake)

I love when the hummingbirds come in the morning and squeak around my window
Sometime they come fast and crush to the window
I feel sorry for them
But they are so cute

Be sure to read up on hummingbird moths, who look and act remarkably similar to actual hummingbirds! They're my favorite animal, although I love real hummingbirds, too.

And don't forget the Ruby-throated hummingbird's 500 mile, 22 hour, non-stop, as the crow flies migration over the Gulf of Mexico. Tough bird.

Hummingbirds fly insanely fast so they can visit more flowers and drink more nectar to give them the energy to fly insanely fast.
