Sadly, when conjoined twins cannot be separated, if one dies the other soon follows as they are poisoned by the toxins created during the early stages of decomposition of the dead twin, as most conjoined twins share at least one organ. Even in this case, with what sounds like no shared organs, just skeleton, the toxins would have killed the second twin.
Today, however, these twins would have been easily separated shortly after birth, and Violet would have lived on long after Daisy's death.

The fact that they suffered exploitation and abuse as children was indeed awful, but aside from that, I don't see how their lives were tragic. They escaped their abusers and went on to their own success. That's triumphant empowerment as far as I'm concerned. And for people thinking the girls' lives were sorrowful just because they weren't born normal or their problem could've been corrected today, those are wildly ableist assumptions and y'all need to expand your perspectives.

the 59 years and 11 months thing is so unnecessary, unless they literally died on their 60th birthdays. Not like the video was bad but this just threw me off so hard, like you didn't even care enough for your inspirational ending. I'd have left it out since the exact numbers would have been kinda weird too. Something more like that's better than a month would have been fine.

Im crying I wondered what Violet did in those last days with her dead sister. Probably Daisy's corpse would be rotting and Violet is struggling to survive; . It litteraly reminded me of how cat dog died.

Wow, that's so sad, but glad that their lives did improve.
I feel shame that they were denied entry for being medically unfit. America is supposed to be a place where all men (and women) are equal.

been like this all our lives and they were too afraid. One, or both of us could die.
