I was once a huge fan. Then I grew up. Realized a lot of the facts were heresy. Bunch of allegations. No proof (that he was ever challenged in any street fight or on his movie sets. not a single photo or film clip. No proof he ever fought a man called Wong Jack Man. Was admitted he never competed. on any level. So he was unproven in combat. Of any type. Then there were his so films that have been called benchmarks. yet they didnt make any sense and were IMHO laughable. Full of holes.
E. g. in many films he uses nunchucks which is a Japanese weapon. In films where he was clearly Chinese who would never had touched any weapon not Chinese (e. g. Enter the Dragon. playing an ex Shaolin Monk) or as a Chinese boxer in the early 1900's where there was strong anti-Japanese. perhaps it was supposed to be the 1940's. yet he used nunchucks against his fellow countrymen who were studying Japanese Karate. HEH. They'd never do that. then. THen there's the fact that they called him a Chinese Boxer yet he used his own brand of Kung Fu he developed JKD. :)
Had Lee been a world champion in some form of Martial arts. Had he come to the US and even embarrassed Chuck Norris and Joe Lewis in an exhibition match then MAYBE he should get the respect he's getting today. The worship by millions.

Han had been good pals with Bruce's dad. Bruce was part german; bruce was extremely confident but actually also very modest; he attended sharon tates funeral; bruce was an excellent dancer; bruce was a fan of elvis Presley although they never met; his final tv show as a guest was two weeks before he died; he was scheduled to appear as a guest on the johnny Carson show in August of 1973 but died the month prior; Bruce was fantastic and ahead of his time and was a Mentor to Many people and an inspiration to multiple millions Globally.

To date, Bruce Lee is the best Kato and the Green Hornet tv show from the 1960s is the best adaptation yet. I grew up watching reruns of the Green Hornet and I absolutely loved it! That was my first introduction to Bruce Lee and after that I sought out Bruce Lee films like Enter the Dragon and the unfinished Game Of Death which are both fantastic! Its a shame he died so young because he had so much more to offer. He was a legend back then and hes even a bigger legend now!

When I asked him if he taught them flying kicks or anything really cool like the movies he said nope. He said they drilled basic techniques but mentioned that Bruce told them never to kick above the knee in a real fight. Said he was a good teacher and knew his stuff.

Uh, Jeet Kune Do information you presented is 90% incorrect. JKD is extremely aggressive and violent, but is used only for self defense. The main principle of JKD is to attack the attacker before he can he hit you, hence Way of the Intercepting Fist which is what the name means in Cantonese. Please research completely before you present wrong information.

Bruce was my hero while everybody had Batman, Superman, Spiderman, not me since I was 5 he was my hero and he was real but unfortunately he was not immortal he died on my birthday in 73 a very bad day for me I will never forget him

It is pronounced Jeet Kune Do with the Do pronounced as Doe like a young deer, not do as in due. This is the first time I have ever heard anyone pronounce it thus as a dew.
