How the Egyptians Built the Pyramids

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
The Great Pyramid the largest of several Egyptian pyramids found at Giza is the only surviving wonder of the ancient world. With such a fantastical past, it has long been debated how those pyramids were built without the help of modern technology. Over the years, it has been conjectured that ancient Egyptians carried large hand-carved rocks up massive ramps to set them in place, but that doesnt explain how these enormous limestone blocks were transported to the Giza plateau in the first place. However, in 2017, archaeologists made a fascinating new discovery: a papyrus scroll that finally explains how the building materials for the pyramids were brought from far away

Interesting video. but after listening to the points / theories made. I'm left with more questions than answers.
This video made claims and explanations with no evidence or analysis.
Like the theory of the 3 logs per side of stone / 12 log method, whom someone suggested. They speak of it in the video - 'a single man could move the block a conciderable distance' -and gave no evidence or analysis of of tf this could happen. (Seems a little farfetched, with it being a 15 tonne block)
Also they show some sort of infra red reading of the pyramid and state some sort of gap within the pyramid that allowed workers to move blocks from inside. But neither the image displayed nor an explanation made sense. The imagine displayed nothing backing up their claim.
Interesting video for sure, but not informative nor fact orientated at all
.

So I was thinking about this and from a religious standpoint you don't put somebody you've enslaved in charge of your preparation for the afterlife as it could be sabotaged that's how I think or that's my intellectual proof If you will that they did not employ slave labor it would have literally killed them and ruined their chances of traversing the duat or the afterlife and I live near the Oriental Institute and I asked when I visited last time I think this was a few years ago and they said that is absolutely correct they would not have wanted anybody but a practicing religious Egyptian to work on the tombs because it was a religious experience for the workers as well.

Egyptians were anal about leaving significant historical events carved in stone. why not how the pyramids were built? There's a reason why there's no historical documentation on how it was done. Whomever built them is hiding something. something that closed minded people can't even consider being as possible. It is not possible to place one of those stones every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day for the whole 20 years that it is claimed to have taken to build the pyraminds. The pyramid builders allegedly hadn't even discovered the wheel yet.

The methods shown are physically slow and laborous to do. it would take over a hundred years to build a pyramid or the temples, walkways. using 10-30 ton blocks of granite. Seen a demonstration where a rock mason was using a bronze chisel on granite block. pounded for hour. ruined chisel, almost a mark in the granite. Seen blocks of stones in walls, temples where a razor blade would not fit. There had to be another method to building temples, walls walkways and the pyramids.

Interesting analysis well presented, if there was an advantage to using logs and the resources were available Mr. Wests idea seems plausible. The largest granite blocks above King's chamber cannot just be there for relief of stress.
The carved stone clearly shows 8. 30 Egyptian bosses giving a black workers gang orders, the oldest worker sat at the front is gesturing a unit of measure with his index fingers.

In many cultures from the age of antiquity the actual masons were indeed very skilled artisans, the laborers on the other hand were almost always slaves. Vlad Dracul employed master masons to build his castles, but again the laborers were slaves with no construction skills and were used because either way they were still capable of doing the work of a laborer/tender regardless of their skill set.

Stone statues are so symmetrical ship smooth so precise. So heavy. A lot of these items have hieroglyphics carved onto the sides of them clearly claiming another cultures property. The water erosion around the sphinx showed it's from a time when it was wet. I believe there was a people far older more advanced n then earth hit the reset button. Or was lost some other way.

Speculation 1: 45 - We know this is how they really did it, because archeologists uncovered a single unfinished oblisk, which for unknown reasons, was abandoned midway through the process of extraction.
Mybe it was the first one they tried and one of them said, Fk this, it's too much work. I'm gonna roll me a fat one and come up a better way.

Wow! So they did everything that you just described every two minutes, twenty four hours a day for twenty years? Seems reasonable. And finding one example of something in another location and juxtaposing it into what you need is pretty disingenuous. Also the pyramid builders did not have iron chisels. They had copper chisels and stone hammers.

5: 15 Previous scholars interpreted the water pouring as ceremonial but later researchers suspected it might have a more practical purpose
Imagine thinking a lot of ancient activities being ceremonial only to find out it was just some simple practical usage. LMAO love this. Never change archaeologists and historians

Didnt that RA dude or whatever from Venus take the form of a lanky Humanoid thing and helped build these with telekinesis for the purpose of healing or some crap, then left when people started using them selfishly and worshipping him as a god when he was only trying to help or something like that.

Ancient Egyptians: the gods helped us build it.
Alien theorists: Extraterrestrials built it.
Modern science basic ingenuity is the cause.
Me: doesnt seem to require gods or aliens. Just planning and hard work. But way to go ancients for baffling us for 4000 years, thats impressive.

thats it, thats all you got, thats the same weak ass brain movements they have been trying to get us to believe for years, and your only talking about one set of pyramids, these things are all over the world, and your supposed to be the smart ones, your just regurgitators of the same crap
reply

Duh if it wasnt propaganda then why did the greatest time in history of man end? Oh wait kings thought that too in their castles
You guys are really idiots just look to yourself about what you TRULY would do. The answers are there youre making it really easy for me to hate you people

Well thanks for your new theories but nobody has solved this ancient monuments construction with any theory that all the world's engineers, architects and archeologists can agree on! A Nobel Prize is what their all after and nobody has won it yet!
reply

How they build for sure we dont know, because there is to many theory but only we can guess or Discovery methood how they do it, and also hide tools and plans of construction, so to many theory but not one 100% right only speculation.

That was an amazing video! I just spent about 100 hours this last month playing Assassin's Creed Origins which takes place in ancient egypt during the days of Cleopatra and Cesar. I've been fascinated with ancient Egypt ever since.

An iron chisel? thats great, but. its the bronze age, not the iron age for them. Any iron chisels found that date to the time od the pyramids? Tuthankamon dagger was iron, yes, but from a meteorite and not make in Egypt.
reply

So basically its just the current generation of archeologists theory of how things were done. Its still theory and will change in a generation or two to a different theory starts. Its still pretty much THEORY!
reply

I believe that they made all the blocks on ground before they began. Then they built it like a standing square and then they removed the blocks afterwards to create the triangle shape of the pyramid.
