Its kind of darkly ironic that Klaus Eichman who was anti Semitic like his father dated Sylvia who had Jewish heritage the very people that he and his father hated and the very people that Adolf Eichman tried to kill and was also the daughter of a holocaust survivor who lost almost all of his family partially because of Eichman. Imagine if Lothar Hermann actually saw Eichman in person and talked to him and imagine if Eichman found out that Lothar Hermann was a holocaust survivor and knew who he was. I bet he would be scared knowing that he would probably want to punish him for what he did to his family. Imagine what Lothar Hermann had to say to his daughter Sylvia about Klaus and his father that Adolf Eichman had murdered almost all of her fathers family.

I think everybody should know about just following orders. I worked 40+ years as a computer programmer. Fortunately the orders me and my coworkers received did not entail killing people (sometimes the products never shipped, but people were just doing their jobs. With artificial intelligence the orders may be to program networked computer chips that will be implanted in persons' brains to enhance them. Of just virtual reality to distract people's minds from what's going on around them in mere reality.

But we must never forget that Dazis [Antinazis] committed horrendous war crimes and atrocities against Nazi population, Nazi women and children, including mass-rapes on the scale never seen before in the history. Dazis [Antinazi] must eternally be ashamed of what they did to Nazi people. If they don't, they have no real humanity. The image shown of Rafi Eitan at the 9. 41 mark of this video is wrong. You showed Lt General Rafi (Raful) Eitan - primarily known as IDF Chief of Staff 1978 - 1983. Rafi Eitan who was the Mossad agent that captured Eichmann was someone else entirely. Indeed, the wrong Rafi is shown in your video wearing his Lt General uniform. The Rafi Eitan - who captured Eichmann - only achieved a much lesser rank of company commander while serving in the IDF,

Had he fled dropped all Nazi ideology raised his kids right and had lived a normal life I might have believed he didn't order the things done to the prisoners. And that he wasn't a threat to anyone and wasn't worth the efforts. But that wasnt the case. The fact his kids were nazis and he was surrounding himself with other Nazis tells me he wasn't remorseful and given an opportunity would continue killing more innocents

My only criticism here is that of a Clevelander. Around 2: 14 you say other criminals claimed to be slain under questionable circumstances and then show a picture of the Devil of Cleveland. John Demjanjuk was NOT Ivan the Terrible. Ivan the Terrible WAS murdered. Demjanjuk was convicted for working at a DIFFERENT death camp at his second trial. Plus that whole thing played out waaaaaay after Eichmann's trial.

Adolf Eichman also knew Reinhard Hyederich also known as the Butcher Of Prauge another one of the Nazis who implemented the holocaust as he worked for him and he also attended the famous wannesse conference along with Hyederich where they officially helped implement the holocaust.

You forgot to add that synagogues and Jewish buildings were torched by mobs in Argentina and Peru after his capture. Also, after Eichman's hanging at Eamleh prison near Tel Aviv in 1962, Prime Minister Ben Gurion ordered that Eichman's ashes be thrown in the Mediterranean Sea so as not to sully Israeli soil. This evil, criminal man was a true Nazi and cold hearted anti-Semite!

It is often forgotten that many Nazis responsible for the Holocaust never got punished because American politicians like McCarthy did everything they could to frustrate efforts to bring them to justice. Instead, McCarthy focused his efforts on witch hunts against people who werent even Communist.

Ok so I know it would have been satisfying to get him when they got many others But Its also kinda satisfying to know how terrified he had to of been during his years changing his whole identity and running from the choices he made. Kind of pleasing to know he probably felt very little peace.

What the hell? Fritz Bauer was the judge involved in this situation, Erich Gasmeister Bauer was the executioner at a Nazi extermination camp. I had to watch that multiple times to assure myself I wasn't just seeing things, that's a hell of a person to confuse someone else for lol

8: 01 I think you made a mistake in the name tag at this timestamp. The name is Fritz Bauer and he was NOT a nazi, the opposite. He hunted nazis as an Attorney General during the 50ies and 60ies and if I remember correctly he was persecuted and fled Germany during the war.

Good historical documentary, a small comment for the record: actually the picture in this documentary belongs to a former IDF chief of Staff Major General Rafi RAFUL Eitan instead of Rafi Eitan the MOSAD agent who captured ADOLF EICHMANN ( IMACH SHMO) in Buenos Aires.

My fathers family was killed in the Holocaust, because some of them couldnt get into the United States, because of US quotas on Jews.
What a terrible thing it was to keep people out because they were Jewish.
