Surprised nobody knows Marcus Wesson
Marcus Wesson, after returning from the army, married an older woman and had 8 children. One of those children was his daughter Elizabeth. He married his own daughter when she was 14 and had 10 children together. He troughly abused his children (girls especially) and made them believe that the god made them to be his wives.
Another thing was that along either his own children/grandchildren, 7 of his daughter’s kids lived in the house. He never worked and forced the kids to work instead, giving him all the income.
Some of his family could not stand this, rebelled, wchich resulted in police arriving. His reaction was killing 9 of the children present in the house at the moment, shooting them trough the eye socket.

I have a cousin who was named John Booth. He changed his name about 20 years or so ago. Can't say I blame him. I'd be mad if my parents named me after a famous murderer/assassin, even if it was unintentional. [I think it had something to do with it being a family name on his father's side, but I'm not sure. ] But, at least his parents had the good sense not to give him the middle name of Wilkes.
