You forgot to mention that Ghostwriter premiered on PBS on October 4, 1992. The series followed a group of Brooklyn middle schoolers who solved cases by using their reading and writing skills with the help of a mysterious ghost. It lasted three seasons, ending its run in 1995 with a four-episode arc about a creepy doll that was so scary that it gave '90s kids plenty of nightmares. See it for yourself. (Fun fact: Samuel L. Jacksonyes, that Samuel L. Jacksonplayed Jamal's dad in the early episodes)

Wow, so many good shows ended in 1992, the ending of an era it would seem. These are the shows I grew up on. It's really unbelievable, Who's The Boss, Growing Pains, Night Court, The Cosby Show, Saturday Morning Cartoons, and even Johnny Carson. Never put together all this ended on that same year, pretty crazy. Thanks for making this series, it brings me back to that moment in time.

IMO, from the fashion worn by people, 1991 was the last year of vestiges of the 80sbright clothing and overproduced songs. Once Grunge exploded in late 1991 and early 92, clothing became darker in color, and the Shaggy look of chin facial hair for men became the norm. And men spotting longer hair was in thing to have. In other words, In 1992, the mini era of the medieval ages began.

In 1992, in the early 90s, I was 14, starting grade 9 in high school. On TV, I watched a mix of daytime talk shows soap operas, All My Children, and OLTL. Prime time dramas, sitcoms, Saturday morning, weekday and afternoon cartoons. Also, the debut of Guardians of the Harmony Locket animated based on dolls and the end of the Intergalactic Racers Saturday morning cartoon from 1990.

1992 was a heavy year, not just in TV.
For me, I realized I had to start taking life seriously and work towards my future. I guess it was the year I really grew up, a year before becoming an actual adult. I graduated the next year, the same as the Saved by the Bell cast.
Ironic that most of my favorite TV shows as a kid were ending, and so was my childhood, so to speak.

I was 10 and definitely had a few Aliens toys. Donated them to my little bro that year. Middle school started. Can't be having action figures in middle school. It twas snes, comics and skateboards from there on out. Speaking of, Jim Lee made X-Men the most successful comic franchise of the 90's with his reboot. Not the cartoon.

Star Trek Deep Space Nine’s fifth season (6th episode) episode Trials and Tribble-ations, airing in 1996 (on Nov 4) was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Trek (which started airing in September of 1966. Relics wasn’t to commemorate the 30th anniversary as Star Trek wasn’t airing on 1962 (thirty years prior to 1992.

TV in the 90's is cute and stuff. Are there any plans to expand the decades there's the 2010's, and 60's. I understand that it'll get more challenging getting footage before that, but Movie Reels, archival documents, it can be done. Let's revive our Grandparent's cultural history before they pass.

4/10/92. 9: 47 a. m flora Illinois I breathed my 1st breathe. Well barely, I was born almost 5 weeks premature. Got airlifted to St. Louis Barns hospital. Spent a week or so in a human incubator, while my lungs fully developed.
Sorry for the unnecessary story. But I love everything about 1992.

6: 00 I remember this. So here is where we can pin-point where feminism destroyed America, and created the millions of cat ladies, and men, of the future of 2025 and beyond. And the dynamics between Men and Women, will never be the same again.
Their offensive against Men.

That episode of Murphy Brown that clapped back so hard at Dan Quayle and made him looking like the idiot he was was FIRE. It was so iconic that I still think about it from time to time (like at the end when they dumped a pile of potatoes on the White House. IFKYK)

I totally believed that you could get AIDS from being next to someone with it till Captain Planet set me straight. I was scared like everyone else.
I was a child.
But I was never scared after this episode.
That’s how it’s done.
Take notes.

In 1992, I was 21 years old. By the end of this video, I realized I have not ever watched any of the shows or events that happened in that time period and haven’t heard of a lot of them. I guess I haven’t watched tv for longer than I had thought.

WOW, allot of great TV from 92 and i remember most of these but my favorite would have to be the live season of ROC that aired that year. It was significant because it had been decades since an American sitcom went a full season doing live episodes

Saturday morning cartoons managed to last until 2014, when in October it became the first Sat since 1966 to not run kid's shows on any of the three networks. Solid, almost 50 year run.
Suck it Cartoon Network.

It’s sad that the Night Court reboot only has John Larroquette and Marsha Warfield because they’re the sole main cast members still alive
RIP Harry Anderson, Markie Post, Richard Moll and Charlie Robinson

In 1992, I was working 40 hours a week and also going to graduate school, so I only watched two of these shows- Picket Fences and Seinfeld. I don't think I really missed much after seeing the other shows listed.
