It starts with a simple cough, and before you know it, millions of people are infected. And it won't stop there. It could keep growing and growing until billions of people are sick. Flights are canceled, cities are quarantined, and hospitals are flooded with patients. This is what's known as a global pandemic. Could we experience something like this? How would a pandemic affect civilization? How does something like this happen? And how could you avoid it? Sign up for our What If Explorers Club weekly newsletter for exclusives & giveaways

I think that, even though it actually became a worldwide pandemic, it could have been worse if we didnt quarantine.
I can cough and say I believe that +80% of the people over 75 years old wouldnt have anything to say about it sadly.
Internet made the whole thing easier to manage however some minority didnt cooperate as said in the video.

-Holy crap, the What If team started this pandemic! We were all looking at China. -
How did they know exactly what happened, a month and a half before. It is a very fishy situation. I'm on to them. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone!
