What Would happen after the End of War of The Worlds?
video description
The economy would be worse off after the invasion than it would be during WW1. As mentioned, there'd be imperialist conquests from the empires that are somehow still up and running, which could only logically lead to another war at one point when the other nations are rebuilt and if the empire still wants to expand. For those nations, especially the ones with almost no government after it was destroyed, until they rebuild, civil wars and revolutions would ensue as there's always some group that wants power. Then they rebuild their military and preach fear of another destructive invasion to promote the idea of a military state. WW1 would happen and it would happen sooner. Everything would happen sooner. Fascism, Communism, the arms race (considering reverse engineered technology) etc. Pessimism would rule over everything.

The War Of The Worlds is likely set in Autumn, 1900. It talks about the last years of the 19th century in Past Tense. And then theres the line And early in the 20th century, came the great disillusionment. Essentially, the world would be forever changed as the visitation from Mars. So, yea. I just assume the book is set in 1900. Especially since, when the book talks of the 1894 flash seen on Mars dated August 2nd The narrator refers it as six years ago, so 1900. Im pretty much convinced the book is set in 1900, to be honest. The first eruption seen on Mars, occurred on August the 12th, in 1900 in the book likely. And then the final tenth eruption was in the 21st of August. And we can assume, that not long after, the Martian Cylinders would arrive on Earth. I cant say exactly when however. The book describes the days as warm and even boiling, on the day, the first cylinder arrived
The day was warm, so I think its set in Late August, and the book ends around Mid-September maybe?
(If anyone has more information, please reply. I really want to figure out when exactly the Martian invasion occurred in the book)

Why would the Martians need artillery, they have heat ray and black smoke which can cause more death and destruction that artillery could, the Martians would have already had created nuclear weapons and humanity can reverse engineer Martian technology. Technologies that humans can learn from Martians include technology such as: Computers, robotics, nuclear energy for weapons, power, and space travel, cloning, heat Ray, chemical warfare. They will also learn technology such as helicopter, jet planes, levitating vehicles. This will put us at type 1 civilization which is 100 years ahead of our technology. After 50 years, an earth-Mars war will break out in space in which humans will use salvaged technology against the Martians. But for that, Mars needs to be a world with a thick, breathable atmosphere, warm temperatures, liquid oceans, and fertile soil similar to earth with a some differences, considered to be a type 2 rather than type 3 planet.

war of the worlds didnt end like that. the hero didnt do nothin. he was a spectator. also noone survived. the martians all fell dead. in EVERY SINGLE version of the war of the worlds except the jeff wayne rts to make it playable for the martians its shown the martians tripods collapsing after the disease's. also. your pretending like every government collapsed. what is not the case. in the books. the governments are shown to still be resisting. a valiant example is the. ima do a quote here since its SO GOOD the silent grey ironclad. thunderchild. and in version such as the 2005 version and 60s version. the us army. under orders of the government. i showing fighting all out battles with the martians. and holding cities. in the books its different but still. ima do a Voodoomaria here.

A few points, firstly there would have been no way for infection to have traveled back to Mars as the direction of travel was strictly one way, the Martians in the novel arrived via cylinders fired from a giant gun on Mars, once they were here, they were here to stay. Secondly they wouldn't have known about vaccination, if they did they would have already have known about the germs that killed them in the first place, also even if they did know about vaccination how would they have got hold of samples of the diseases to make the vaccines from?
Finally, the Ottoman empire was already on the way out by 1914, without the world war to hasten its end it probably would have lingered on for maybe a couple of decades more but it would have collapsed eventually

Okay, Can't let this go.
At the end of War of the worlds When our unnamed hero has helped drive off the Martian invasion.
Our unnamed hero did NOT do anything to drive off the invasion.
Had you actually read the book you would Know that he spent the whole invasion looking for his girlfriend, hiding, running for his life, and wandering hopelessly through the martian terraformed landscape until eventually running across dead and dying Martians and surmising the cause of their demise, but he did not take any active part in fighting against them.
The Unnamed Hero's entire role was that of observer of events.

If you clone your entire species meaning that you've restricted your entire species genetic make up to reflect genetic diversity like a bag of mixed marbles means that the Marshian species would literally be incapable of recovering and vaccines require a species that already has existing anti-bodies to the disease which would be impossible for a species that hasn't allowed genetic diversity to take place. So to survive the alien species would have to completely isolate infected member of the population and proceed with a scorched earth program where the species would then have to systematically cleanse the entire planet of those germs which would take closer to hundreds of years.

Good Grief. All of the Martians died on Earth. There would be no disease to bring back to Mars. The Martains likely would have lost contact with their forces and not known what happened. The Martians did not use cloning, they budded like seasponges and the protagonist did not at all help drive off the Martians. Did you read the book? I have so many problems with this video.

1 Communism didn't rise in popularity after WW1. There was just the opportunity of weakened government.
2 The negative psychological effects of WW1 are so intense it was worth a mention. But having humanity face threat of extinction by aliens. meh, let's fight each other for colonies.
3 If the Marsian actually analyse their mistakes, earth dies in the second wave.
