What if SARS was as Widespread as Coronavirus? CookyKrim: Americans in 2003 were more receptive to mass quarantine measures. In fact, China was also receptive thanks to Dr Li Wenliang's warning that the virus was the return of SARS.
That, without smartphones.
If the US locked down in 2003 because the US cases were exploding beyond 4000 cases and 500 deaths, Americans would quietly stay at home and watch TV. Forget masks, everyone would be at home and the military would be delivering food, or else. Today's Americans have smartphones yet they protest stay at home orders and mask mandates.

I don't know how realistic a scenario this is, but what if the Republic of Ireland became communist would be very interesting to me - would it have been like Cuba - an outcast in the heart of NATO? What would happen to the Irish culture in the USA? Would irish culture be oppressed? Would the troubles have had more significance, and have been bloodier?

What if the turks won the 1529 siege of Vienna? Iij know you already did this time line for 1683, but you said yourself that the ottomans started their decline in the latter half of the 1600s. But what if they succeed during the peak of their expansion period?

What if the Soviet Union collapsed in a more orderly fashion, not sparked by the fall of the berlin wall (so the berlin wall also falls at a later prescheduled time)

4: 59 The first border change on the map is that there is only Sudan, South Sudan isn't there. As for the second thing, it might be Israel (I can't see it very well.

Mortality rate would probably be a bit higher due to the reinfections rate and mutations, of course you weren't aware of this 10 months ago though.

The disease has been politicised so much that I won't be surprised if it's forgotten in 2022 and beyond or at least until the next pendanamic
