So many people manifesting their hate here. i don-t get it. you come here, watch the entire story and then start criticizing as if the writers stole your breathing air. The storytelling is good to great and it cannot be as perfect as per previous patches. The atmosphere is, as i last time played the game, still great. Immersive as hell and unfit to play if you have stuff to do around your home - it-s still addictive.
But at the end of the day, they also have to earn money from it so throwing quests and side quests at us and even rehashing -some- plot lines is still acceptable. I-ve been into the Warcraft universe for a long time and while i admit, i suffered from fatigue at times, the game is still great. Stop hating and just move on if you don-t like it anymore. it-s simple!

What annoys me about World of Warcraft recently besides the drop in quality of writing, is that they're pulling out all these old lore characters they forgot about like Azshara, Alleria, Turalyon, Caila, and now Azshara and they're kinda just popping out of nowhere when they should of been doing things for a WHILE now, but that's how it's going to be when we're a company trying to make a world have one central enemy lOl.

This reminds me of why I stopped playing WOW. This storytelling, while not super-polished, is fine. It's when you have to go through the same story 5 times on different characters that every minor flaw becomes game-breaking. If WOW had FF14's class system, I'd have bought a lifetime pass.

The story beats are so contrived, it actually hurts. Even worse knowing that the cinematics are really well done.
By the way, personal note: Azshara's still got a very nice face, outside of the fins and the extra eyes on her forehead. Kinda makes me want to hump it

Wait, WOW has octopus ladies now? From Little Mermaid? What was her plan anyway? Just randomly open the waters and trap a bunch of ships there?
And they say she is Naga? Last I checked they had snake bodies, not octopus.

Not being able to leave; being trapped there I feel would make WoW interesting. Then you can only leave by defeating the raid. But that would be to unfair for others or to hard.
