Needs work, lotta holes. As mentioned elsewhere in comments, unmonitored phone calls. Why so long to Get one phone call Gravity same on moon An AXE! .for moonpine trees right No Problem acquiring him the first time, now he's escaped from THE MOON! I think they'll redouble their (non)efforts and catch him Even Faster! Like, before he hits the Ground, man!
Nice try, tho.

Brutality in all aspects of production helped convey the brutality of this particular dystopia. theft and childbirth, convicted on my authority Sheesh. Doesn't sound too far from Atwood's story of Gilead. And private prisons are all the rage now. Privateering and corruption go together faster than elected politicians and greed. Maybe two sides of the same coin.

Well, a bit less than the usual high standards of the Dust series. .. yet another dystopian future in LA, with the cyborg cops and all that, but with a lunar prison scenario. Cliche' as it was, could have still been interesting, but the plot, such as it was, was too shaky and implausible, not well thought out. Reasonably good production quality though.

Just another pitch tape really and from what I saw I wouldn't commission it. It was superficial and didn't do what you have to do, bag a couple of characters quickly so the viewer can latch on to them first, care about them or even dislike them. then wrap the story around them as much as you can. Otherwise, it just noise. which this was.

Histrionics aside, sending anything to the moon is prohibitively expensive. An island makes more sense and has been successful in the past (Alcatraz and Devil's Island are two examples. The problem needs a better solution than letting dangerous criminals go because the prison has a No Vacancy sign.

What a total mess. Unengaging story, dreadful dialogue, poorly executed VFX, a jarring disjointed edit, inconsistent color grade. not to mention a complete lack of character depth. This is a 449 second long lesson in how NOT to make a short.

So he never got off the shuttle, but he still got a phone call AND managed to see the horrors of the lunar prison Only makes sense if he got himself arrested on purpose and had seen whatever he saw prior to the start of the film.

If you left Earth's 1G for any length of time, your skeleton would be seriously affected. Prisoners held on the Moon would almost certainly never be able to return.
Nice film though.

This does not happen.
Anytime humans want see only darkness in the unknown.
There is always light in the dark.
His growth and development is not harmful to man.
Is not it

He is incapable of stealing a loaf of bread but can slaughter the crew of a prisoner transport, in which he was not restrained nor isolated nor under constant watch.
Awesomely bad.

Great Little film! Proves why we need a federal death penalty and why it needs to be expanded to include lesser crimes. It is a crime to keep such violent prisoners around. PERIOD.

Shot almost entirely in the dark, so you can't even see the sets. Instant thumbs down. Typical Dust. Not worth watching, nothing to see here, move along.

This was a fairly fractured blend of styles and borrowed storylines. Not much original or well done here. I mean, who needs an ax on a spaceship Really

Dumb, they would have caught him like two seconds after he landed. Look at the trouble they went through to catch him for stealing bread

the concept and story are intriguing, but the execution fails both of them. Some stories just need more time to be fully enveloped.

If I hadn't hated the way it was shot so much, I might be wanting a feature out of this. Interesting premise.

This one didn't really go anywhere, unfortunately. Felt like half a trailer for a B-movie.

Implausible. And additionally, the story relies not even a little bit on technology.
