You HAVE to use the component cables on a HD TV with the PS2. You will be shocked how good it looks. Grand Turismo supports 1080 I believe. It along with God of War looks like a new system on component cables.

The frist concle my dad got me was the ps2 slim and my cousins later on has the ps2 sliver star wars edition. Now I bought a fat ps2 (the one I originally wanted but never forgot the love I gave my ps2 slim).

As a teen, the only clear and fond memory of my father's PS2 (that still works to this day) is me and my brother just playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, both co-op and War Mode. Such good times...

Maybe less known you could have an HDD in your PS2 that you could copy your discs to and never need the disc again cause you could boot them from the HDD

I think I played SO MUCH GTA Vice City on my PS2 it is that game that ended up breaking it. Good ride I had with it, regardless.
