The Xbox One X is Microsoft's powerful response to 4K, PS4 Pro, and the changing times. There's a lot of hype, but how powerful is the Xbox One X? Let's take a look

I want 10K at 1000fps without a hiccup, until then, xbox is the better console since it came out, they wanted to make great gaming and have done it well, Sony and Nintendo are too much money machines for my liking, like top end brands of any type, some make a high quality product and earn their place, others recycle designs and play games with the consumer and dont give a crap about them, iPhone anyone? I see Nintendo the same as apple, Sony is better in that way but it's just not as good an interface, they are akin to the LG brand and phones, and Microsoft and xbox are the Samsung and galaxy's, people can say they arent the best, but they are, there is science involved ( that people who buy subpar products, by nature, dont understand ) that proves without question that galaxy's are the best phone, and, xbox the best game console.

The value for money is awesome on this console. Especially currently with inflated Ram and GPU prices. Here in Europe PC parts also appear to be more expensive than in the US. For example my Vega 64 was 800- here in Germany. Now regarding the Hardware in the console the GPU clock appears a little low. If I had to guess it's an underclocked RX 480. Also if I'm correctly informed this jaguar cpu is AMD Bulldozer. So it probably got the same problem as the desktop version of these chips which would be that 2 cores share one FPU. Also I'm pretty shure that the consoles let AMDs cpu branch survive the past 6 years. Those FX chips weren't selling at all on the desktop. I would get an xbox if it werent so damn expensive to maintain. Like 60- for a game, come on.

a few months in and I'm loving mine, 4K support just keeps expanding (I think doom was made native 4K a few days ago) and all in all it's been pretty good to me.
I also have a ryzen editing rig with 64 gig of ram and an overclocked RX 480 in the office and it games pretty bloody good, but I generally favor my 1X outside of forza as the editing machine has an ultrawide display, forza looks absolutely amazing in 21:9, and afaik the 1X doesn't support ultrawide.
that being said however, if Microsoft open the 1X/S up to ultrawide resolutions the same way it enabled 1440p on the X and S I'd buy a second ultrawide in a heartbeat, even if the X supports 1440p ultrawide at best.

Every tech comparsion I've seen on you tube the xbox1 x smokes the AMD 580, in fact the latest far cry 5 comparison on DF needed to use a Gtx 1070 in order to compete!!! First party games will always show case the console just like gears 4 did when patched. In the real world here in Australia a pc to compete against a xbox x is more like $1800 spend not this $500 everyone keeps speaking about it does even come close! I personally no longer see the piont in buying a pc to play games when consoles are kicking ass with what they have to offer.. This is coming from someone that works in IT designing data centres and pcs for the last 16years.

Been playing games in 4K on my pc at 60-120 FPS since the beginning of the year with a 980ti then 1080ti. Games look utterly amazing in 4K but it-s not always about looks. Games like FTL and Kerbal Space don-t need to be 4K to be amazing. Good gameplay trumps graphics. But I will not go back to 1080p, 4K is worth the upgrade.

Every non gamer: He doesn't know what he's talking about he is just reading off a script and pretending to be smart!!!!!
Me: Never question a gamers knowledge of components and processing speed... We literally build our own PC's (Sometimes) because we know that they will run better than that Microsoft PC at JB HI FI

I need some help with my One X. My tv says it supports 4k native, but not hdr10. I bought it so I could play in 4k. My Xbox recognized that my tv was 4k and automatically offered to switch. But I was double checking everything and it said hdr10 wasn't supported. Will i still get 4k 30hz video quality with games?

People act like PC gaming has always been ahead. The 360 and PS3 were on par with very high end gaming PC-s, and were literally a fraction of the price. Consoles were always ahead on their launches. Its just not that way anymore.

i have always thought that xbox 1 is better because on pc (if you have low internet)) takes an HOUR to load something in but if something like Microsoft edge was lagging, get on a game everything is running at 4K 60FPS
