HL1 - one of first complex 3D's which defined classical FPS
HL2 - one of first complex gaming physics which defined possibilities of modern engines (funny nobody took advantage of gaming physics in such measurings like VALVE)
HL3 - ??? (but again something first)

so in other words they could make half life alyx really really really good. as for all we know they have been working on it for the last 12 years, with some of the smartest people out there, with no limits on what they want to do, no squashing their ideas, all the funding in the world. limitless potential. or. it could be absolutely terrible because its a mess of a company with no rules or decisions or plans, etc..hmm..

I think that Valve is very big because they actually put thought into the game and put it at a low enough price so that a lot of people would buy the game. For example, the portal series, great games I-ve played both end to end, but they actually put thought into it instead of filling games like CoD or Destiny with microtransactions that were just made to milk money but in the wrong way

This video is very misleading. Being Flat-structure doesn't mean they don't have projects that have beginning and end. All projects have beginning and end, however the phases themselves don't have begging and end. Valve is a video game company just as much they are content supplier. They have released plenty of great games over the years and will continue to do so.

- Valve throws out a trailer for a single-player title
- Valve employs Kaci Aitchison
- Valve completely changes their communication approach
- Valve is expected to release 3 new games through out next year
- Half of this video now doesn't make sense.

I will never leave steam, I only Use Steam, and Origin to play Battlefield. I also have Uplay for R6 even tho its a steam bought copy. and Far cry 5 is a Uplay copy.
