Free to play is NEVER good. Even if it is pure cosmetic, it means that unless you pay up (more than a normal game price) you will not have all the stuff. They are insentivised to keep the better things for the paywall. Even the games that are FTP that are not hot garbage, still would have been better for the consumer if they were just paid experiences. Expansions and subscriptions especially can keep the game going long term, and subs can keep the player base from getting divided into payers and feeloaders. But what do I know, I've only been gaming for nearly 40 years, and most of that time it's been my main hobby/entertainment.

The soccer/football game being labeled as fair is because EA Sports games are of course known by everyone who plays them to be totally unfair and BS and have AI that cheats all the time. And to constantly have situations where for unknown reasons the AI just decides something you're doing isn't going to work.
So this Fair label totally makes sense to anyone who's used to EA sports garbage.
And I permanently gave up playing FIFA about 8 years ago, and have been wishing for all eternity for a decent alternative soccer game. So I really hope this UFL game is good.

My family and friends will be worried by my radio silence when Marvel Rivals comes out. Ive played both the Alpha and Beta and for a hero shooter. It was one of the most polished and smooth experiences I've ever had. Almost no bugs, decently optimized, and each marvel character FEEL genuine and sticks to the fantasy that the character brings. NetEase has done an AMAZING job so far! If your enjoy Overwatch, do not sleep on Marvel Rivlas. Its truly the only competition that Overwatch has ever had. And competition is a good thing.

Think the UFL 'fair' aspect came from the idea that the esports version of football games (ie FIFA/ EA FC) is not seen as fair because there are too many variables attached, and their Ultimate Team game mode is based on buying 'packs' with real money. So i guess they mean more arcade by fair Skill-based and less of a real-life football simulation

I always wanted to beat soul reaver back when it came out on dreamcast! I always got lost when I took a break from it, because of the shift mechanic that would change the world. I want to beat it, because I beat blood omen and the other legacy of kain games which I loved. So I’m def gonna have to get the remastered version and try it again! Lol

I only just noticed, Marvel Rivals has destructible environments Need to play around with that a bit myself, missed the beta and all. Hope there's a lot of support after the game launches too. Does seem like it should be an easy game to keep going, in theory.
Delta Force also looks interesting, recent Battlefields have been kind of a mess.

At 13: 25 where you made the sound effect for punching someone and then immediately realized no, it doesn't actually sound like that, but you know what I mean. Honestly If you have not played EA FC games then you would not understand how unfair and scripted that game is. So to say UFL will be fair is actually a big thing. That is also one of the reasons is not getting release on PC.

The Soul Reaver 1&2 remaster is one game I’ve been looking forward to sense finding out about it a few months back. I remember playing the original versions and I hope they updated the camera controls this time around

I hope those remasters of Legacy of Kain do well, it's one of the best stories ever told in gaming and it needs to be finished. Just one more adventure to travel in time, defeat the elder god and let Nosgoth live in peace

The fairness of UFL isn't about the free to play aspect it's about the dynamic difficulty of fifa ultimate team, where EA just makes it super easy to score in the 90'th minute to equalise and stuff like that

Warframe is a great free to play game. You can get everything in the game without paying for it. You can make in game currency without paying for it also. (Platinum) by selling stuff that u grinded for.

My kid is a lead animator on Anton Blast- the whole team has been busting their butts getting ready for launch! I hope it's a huge hit- they've all poured they hearts and souls into the game =)

Another december game im excited for is Uncle Chops Rocket Shop. A 2D rocket ship repair game that not everything is at it seems. Also a rouguelike to add playability which I find to be nice

With Delta Force they literally copied the worsts BF which is 2042. It also has specialists, ugly skins and bad destruction. They should've just copied BF 3 with it's class system.
